General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) secret partnership may be exposed if Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) discovers his girlfriend’s serial killer connection.
GH fans know Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) worked out a deal for Spencer, which was a good one all things considered. Spencer could’ve been looking at one to five years in Pentonville over all the stalker drama – and rightly so.
Spencer deserves at least a little punishment for what he did, so it’s reasonable for him to be forced into 500 hours of community service and 30 days at Spring Ridge.
As Esme pointed out, Spencer visited Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) during her own time there and knows the place isn’t all that bad.
Spencer is just being a bit of a whiny snob and not wanting to face the music, but 30 days at a minimum-security facility won’t hurt him. In fact, this short prison stint could open Spencer’s eyes to some of Esme’s biggest secrets.
Esme has an internship at Spring Ridge and seemed to like the idea of seeing Spencer at the facility while he served his time.
However, Esme may find it difficult to hide her secret alliance with Ryan.
It’ll be easy for Spencer to sneak up on Esme when she least expects it and perhaps overhear her talking to her partner in crime.
Spencer may even spy on Esme and try to figure out exactly what she’s up to. His own girlfriend is plotting with a dangerous lunatic who’s committed plenty of murders, so that’s bound to make Spencer uneasy if he finds out.
It could also make Spencer wonder if Ryan’s locked-in syndrome is genuine – and GH viewers know it isn’t.
Bottom line, Spencer’s 30-day Spring Ridge stint will bring an opportunity to uncover at least part of Esme’s agenda.
Spencer may push for answers by the end of all this if Esme gets too careless with her boyfriend nearby. As other news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you in the loop.
