General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) may split with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) since their romance will serve as a painful reminder of their Baby Liam Corbin loss. GH delivered some incredibly emotional episodes as Brando and Sasha made the difficult decision to let their little boy go.
Although Sasha and Brando took some comfort in knowing Mike Corbin (Max Gail) would watch over Liam in heaven, now the harsh reality’s going to set in. Brando and Sasha were over the moon as they prepared for Liam’s birth.
They expected to bring a bouncing baby home and give that child all the love in the world.
That’s why it’s going to be so heartbreaking when Sasha is released and has no baby to take with her. Brando will assure Sasha that they’re in this together – and they indeed will be for a while.
However, Sasha may eventually find that whatever she shared with Brando has fallen apart.
Brando and Sasha’s garage hookup sent them down a path they never expected. They were suddenly launched into impending parenthood, so that experience brought them closer and created a powerful bond.
Unfortunately, it may be difficult to recapture the magic without Liam as part of the picture.
Sasha and Brando both wanted a family, but a crucial piece will be missing now that Liam is dead. Even the sight of Brando may remind Sasha of this excruciating loss and everything they went through.
Instead of excitedly preparing for a baby together, now Sasha may look at Brando and think about what might’ve been. The harder Brando tries to comfort Sasha and pull her closer, the more she may push him away.
Sasha may struggle to imagine ever having another child after pouring all her heart into this one and losing him.
Since Sasha’s probably going to head down a depressed, destructive path of solitude, Brando may be pushed aside – setting the stage for him to move away from this family angle and move into a mob-related role.
We can’t forget that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) needs a new enforcer – and Brando is perhaps the best qualified guy for the job.
It’s just a matter of giving Brando a reason to take the job, so Sasha may provide one by breaking up with him.
