General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is sinking deeper and deeper into danger. GH viewers know Brando’s in a perpetual tight spot since he’s working for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) while remaining loyal to the Corinthos clan.
It can be tricky for Brando to act like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and the others don’t trust him when this has been a scheme the entire time.
Now Cyrus expects Brando to do some digging and hopefully find out where his mother, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott), is being held.
Cyrus pointed out that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) used to be tight with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) – seemingly implying that Brando should exploit Sasha’s interest in him to gather info on Michael and his family.
If Brando refuses to cooperate, Cyrus could unleash all the documents proving Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) was in the country illegally and the Corinthos family covered it up.
However, Brando can’t give Cyrus what he wants either. It’s doubtful Brando will find out where Florence is being held anyway, but it’s not like he’d hand over all the power even if he knew.
As this storyline moves along, Brando could risk exposure. Cyrus already seems suspicious of Brando and Sasha’s bond – plus, Brando didn’t kill Jason in that shootout down on the pier. We’re seeing things that Cyrus disapproves of and red flags are emerging.
At some point, Brando seems likely to blow his cover and that could spell disaster. In the coming weeks, General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will put aside the pull she feels toward Brando and try to focus on Michael.
Even so, that pull to Brando won’t really go away. What happens if Brando ends up in a fight for his life?
Sasha has started falling for Brando, so there’ll be no stopping that spark. It certainly doesn’t seem like Michael and Sasha are the couple to root for here.
General Hospital writers have set the stage for Sasha to have trouble reconnecting with Michael romantically – all while secretly pining for Brando.
Since Sasha insists on provoking Cyrus more than she should, she’s in grave danger as well. There could be a situation coming up where Brando gets busted and faces an attack as a result.
Brando might expose his double agent status as he plays hero for Sasha or refuses to make a move against the Corinthos family.
Will that be enough to convince Sasha to choose Brando? Sasha honestly doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to fight for Michael, so it may be Brando that Sasha’s really meant for! Sasha and Brando will likely emerge from all the Cyrus danger as a solid new couple.
