General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a long-awaited moment is the Nelle saga is coming up. GH fans know Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) botched her mission to swap out Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) necklace.
Carly was hoping to replace it with one that isn’t a perfect match to Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) half-heart pendant, but she dropped a necklace – and isn’t sure which one!
Of course, it may not even matter now that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) are suspicious. It certainly won’t matter when Nina sees another pendant half that looks just like hers. There’ll be a moment of instant recognition, so let’s set the stage for all the drama.
After Nina hears about Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) interview plans with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney), she’ll wish her former fake daughter good luck. Nina will decide to watch Sasha’s Good Morning America appearance on TV, which will turn out to be quite important later.
In the meantime, Sasha will get some support from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). The three of them will show up to support Sasha as the interview’s about to get underway.
Just before Sasha goes on the air, Avery will decide Sasha could use a little more good luck. You can probably see where this is going. General Hospital spoilers say Avery will insist that Sasha should borrow her lucky charm.
Avery will apparently pester Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) until she puts the pendant on Sasha’s neck – much to Carly’s dismay!
Other GH spoilers point to Lucy ignoring Carly, so it sounds like she won’t pay attention as Carly tries to stop her. Lucy will be caught up in making sure this interview goes well and controls the narrative for Deception’s sake.
Likewise, Sasha will be nervous and trying to concentrate on this interview. She won’t even notice when Lucy puts Avery’s good luck charm on her. Nina, on the other hand, will notice the pendant almost immediately after tuning in for Sasha’s GMA appearance.
Nina’s eye will naturally go right to Sasha’s necklace, so she’ll be floored.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will gasp in shock and resolve to get some answers. Once Sasha’s interview wraps up, Nina will be waiting to grill her. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will watch as Nina demands answers about where the pendant came from, but Sasha won’t have a clue.
After Nina wonders if Carly knows anything about this, Avery will pipe up that it’s her necklace. General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will hand that pendant over to Nina, so she’ll be able to see if it’s a genuine match for her own.
Nina can always get updates from Nikolas and Ava if that pendant happens to be the mismatch. This will be the beginning of Nina putting the bio daughter puzzle together, but the whole Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) picture won’t come together just yet.
