General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Elijah Crowe (Dan White) could soon find himself with exactly what he needs to get “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) out of the picture. GH viewers know Sonny and Elijah can’t stand each other.
Elijah has a shady past, but he doesn’t think Sonny is in any position to judge since he can’t remember his own.
However, Elijah’s pretty shady in the present as well since Sonny spotted him with one of the robbers from the firehouse dance. Elijah paid the guy’s bail and faced a shakedown for more money, so he’s up to no good!
Even so, Elijah has been trying to act like Sonny’s the trouble magnet. He recently pointed out to Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) that crime seems to follow Sonny wherever he goes.
That trend may continue if Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) end up on the run in Nixon Falls.
Britt and Jason will land at a new Cassadine barn hideout, but General Hospital spoilers say they won’t stay there very long. It’s best for these two to keep moving, so Nixon Falls might become a future destination.
The idea of Jason and Britt landing in the same town as Sonny seems logical and unbelievably soapy.
Sonny’s memory may not be jogged immediately if Jason walks back into his life, but he’d be excited to meet someone who knows the real him. Perhaps Jason could explain everything to Sonny and convince him that he’s an innocent man – at least in the case of Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) murder.
General Hospital writers have really played up the fact that “Mike” has great instincts when it comes to the people he encounters. Since Sonny instantly knew Elijah was lying, he should know Jason’s telling the truth just as easily.
Will Sonny decide to protect Jason and Britt? There might be a situation where Sonny helps Britt and Jason hide out somewhere, so Elijah could certainly uncover this and spill to the cops.
General Hospital fans know Elijah has been having Sonny followed and is quite keen on getting rid of him. This could be the perfect opportunity to take Sonny down for harboring a fugitive!
Jason’s a wanted man and Britt is believed to be his hostage, so this could become quite a mess for “Mike.”
In addition to Jason being taken into custody, Sonny might be charged with aiding and abetting. Could this lead to both Sonny and Jason getting arrested?
Elijah has been trying to convince the Caulfields that Sonny is a criminal, but “Mike” needs to commit an actual crime for Elijah to do anything about it.
By helping Jason, Sonny could indeed land in trouble with the law. It might serve as one last hurdle to prevent Sonny’s eventual return to Port Charles. As other GH news becomes available, we’ll keep bringing you updates.
