General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will keep opening up to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and will find “Mike” quite enjoyable to spend time with.
Nina will no doubt end up taking that guest bedroom at Phyllis Caufield’s (Joyce Guy) house after all, so there’ll be plenty of other chances to hang around the bar and get to know this version of Sonny.
“Mike” seems pretty smitten already, so he’s probably going to ask Nina out on a date eventually. It’s easy to imagine Sonny going to Phyllis and asking for some tips on how to win Nina’s heart.
Phyllis doesn’t know what Nina’s up to, so she might think this is just perfect.
There’s no guarantee Sonny will ever get his missing memories back, so Phyllis may not see why he shouldn’t move on and build a new life for himself – perhaps one with Nina.
Since Phyllis considers both Nina and “Mike” to be good friends of hers, she may even do some matchmaking for them.
Regardless, Sonny’s already been talking about destiny and is quite drawn to Nina since she reminds him of the blonde from his dreams. At some point, Sonny might decide those dreams were premonitions of the lovely blonde who’d walk into his life instead.
The main thing here is that Sonny seems intrigued by Nina and will likely want more than friendship in the end. “Mike” loves working at The Tan-O and hanging out with the Caulfields, but he has to be lonely in some ways.
Sonny still has wants and needs, so he may push Nina to have dinner with him and see where things lead.
It became clear where GH writers were headed with this when Nina touched Sonny’s hand so sweetly. General Hospital spoilers suggest “Mike” and Nina are going to be more pals who confide in each other.
Something deeper is brewing here, so it should be fun to watch Sonny try to woo Nina in the coming episodes.
After getting advice from Phyllis, Sonny might plan a little candlelit dinner and get Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) to hook him up with the proper attire. “Mike” may pull out all the stops for a romantic night to remember.
General Hospital might as well take full advantage of what’s turned into an incredibly entertaining situation. Nina’s keeping the fact that Sonny’s alive under wraps, but dating Sonny behind Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) back could be some next-level revenge!
Nina may agree to go on a first date with “Mike,” but how long can she keep this up?
