General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will face an alarming phone call – and that may lead to a frantic Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) search. Sonny might call on Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to carry out a mission that’s destined to end in tragic failure, so here’s what GH fans can expect.

It won’t be that long after what we can assume is Jason’s presumed death that Sonny gets this unsettling phone call.
Once Sonny listens to some troubling news and hangs up, he’s bound to be shaken over what he’s learned. It sounds like this may be when Sonny finds out Jason’s awful fate, but he may not give up on him just yet.
Right after Sonny disconnects, he’ll get in touch with Spinelli. Spinelli has all sorts of tricks up his sleeve and ways to monitor things.
Sonny may cling to hope that Jason is still alive following all the deadly Cassadine Island destruction and rely on Spinelli’s assistance.
Maybe Sonny will call on Spinelli to do whatever he has to do to find Jason. Regardless, Sonny will indeed turn to Spinelli for a favor on December 1.
There has to be a link between Sonny’s alarming phone call and the help he seeks from Spinelli the next day.
It makes sense that Sonny will hear about Jason being presumed dead on Cassadine Island and then find himself unable to prove any different, even with Spinelli on his side.
This could be Sonny’s initial denial about Jason’s fatal outcome along with the first step toward acceptance.
Spinelli may know this is a lost cause, but he’ll dig around anyway and may report back with another round of tough Jason news once he comes up empty. We’ll provide updates on the sad scenes that GH has in store.
