General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, April 29, tease that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will feel like it’s time to flee. “Pack your bags! We’re leaving the country!” Liesl insists in Thursday’s GH preview video.
Since Liesl has decided to stay with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) again, he might be the one who gets the warning. Liesl might worry that what happened to Dr. Warren Kirk (Jamison Jones) will come back to haunt them.
Whatever the case, Liesl will be adamant about making a clean getaway in Thursday’s General Hospital episode.
As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll deceive Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about something and then make a surprising suggestion to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Joss will think they definitely need a break from Port Charles, but Trina may be hesitant to leave since she’d miss out on time with her dad, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews).
Trina is still worried about Taggert being convicted, so she may insist she has to stick around and enjoy being around him while she still can. Over with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll need a favor from Brick (Stephen A. Smith). Carly will hope she’s not pushing for too much, but Brick will insist that he’s honored that she asked.
It looks like Brick will pitch in on any surveillance or security issues ahead of Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) escape. While Brick and Carly discuss the next steps, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will arrange for Jason to see his son.
Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) will be glad for the visit with his dad, though he may express concern over the stabbing and Jason’s safety behind bars.
After Jason offers reassurance, he’ll talk to Sam alone. General Hospital spoilers say Sam will suspect this stay at GH is part of a setup. She’ll call Jason out on what he’s up to, so we’ll see if Jason admits this is Carly’s plan to keep him out of dangerous Pentonville.
If all goes well, Jason won’t be going back to the slammer.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), on the other hand, will remain stuck behind bars for the time being. When Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) shows up to see Alexis, she’ll lash out at him over what he did.
Alexis will know Nikolas made a deal with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to score protection for her, so she’ll push to find out what he had to give Cyrus in exchange.
Nikolas might admit he simply returned Cyrus’ dear mother to him – or he might insist Alexis shouldn’t worry about the details.
Either way, Alexis will indeed worry since Nikolas has gotten himself tangled up in Cyrus’ twisted web. Unfortunately, there may be no hope of untangling anytime soon!
Cyrus will taunt Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) about her husband’s dilemma in Thursday’s episode. Ava will note that Cyrus got what he wanted, so she’ll think he should just leave Nikolas alone.
However, General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will warn that it’s never that simple with him. He takes alliances very seriously and doesn’t like to let them go when they’re beneficial to him.
As for Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll reflect on her tense interaction with Cyrus. General Hospital fans know Cyrus wants to bond with his sister, but Laura feels like he should be worthy of that bond first.
Cyrus feels like maybe he’d become worthy if Laura could give him a chance – and he made it clear that Laura needed to pick a side before one was picked for her.
When Laura meets up with Carly on Thursday, Carly will insist that maybe they can make this work to their advantage. It sounds like Carly will want Laura to at least fake some form of a connection with Cyrus and make him more vulnerable.
Laura may fear this is a dangerous game, but now’s the time to get sneaky since a mob battle’s brewing!
