General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 12, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will discuss their happy ending while Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) rats Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) out to Ava Jerome (Maura West). Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will also connect, so here’s what fans can expect.
At GH, Jax will pay Britt a visit and learn she took his advice about compromising. Now that Britt has agreed to share the chief of staff title with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James), she’ll joke about blaming Jax if it all blows up in her face.
Talk will soon turn to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) impending marriage.
Jax will confess his feelings on that and probably won’t hold back since he knows Britt isn’t a fan of this marriage either. Britt and Jax will do some commiserating, so it could bring them closer.
As for Carly, she’ll get quizzed by Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Josslyn will wonder when this wedding is going to happen, so Carly will know they need to nail down a date soon.
However, Carly will fret over the pressure Jason’s under and the toll this situation is taking.
Carly will mention something about Jason being the lesser of two evils, but he’ll argue that’s not the case anymore.
Jason will just want to focus on keeping the family safe, but Carly will remain concerned about how stressful things are getting.
Meanwhile, Nina will have a lovely time with “Mike” aka Sonny in Nixon Falls. Nina will talk about how Sonny could still get a happy ending – perhaps even one with her.
Despite Nina understanding that this could all blow up in her face, she’ll find it difficult to resist Sonny’s charms.
As for Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) he’ll want to take advantage of every moment since he doesn’t know how much longer he realistically has left.
Lenny may push Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) to embrace living in the moment as well instead of concentrating on false hope for a lengthy future.
Phyllis will gain a new perspective on Lenny’s wishes, so hopefully they can get on the same page. Back in Port Charles, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will worry that there’s been some complication.
However, that may not be a medical one. Stella and Portia may clear the air about what happened with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) as Portia tries to move forward.
Portia will do her best to be optimistic about patching things up with Trina, who got some advice from Ava that should steer her in the right direction. Trina will feel like she was done a favor and will discuss all the drama with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
It seems like Trina’s starting to understand that no one is perfect, so you just have to love people with all their flaws.
Finally, Nikolas will tell Ava that the stalker is his own son. He’ll explain how he figured out Spencer was to blame, so Ava may think it says a lot if Spencer would go to such extremes to keep them apart.
This isn’t going to turn into some magical reunion like Nikolas wants, so he’d better prepare for more drama in the coming weeks.
