General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, February 18, tease that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will get some news that leaves her taken aback. Portia’s been mulling over this Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) situation and wants to speak with Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) wife, but Curtis will admit he just officially separated from Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry).
“If we can’t be honest, then what’s the point?” Curtis wonders to Portia in Thursday’s GH preview video. Portia will offer support before talk likely turns to Curtis’ nightclub stakeout. Curtis and Portia will end up going on that stakeout together this Friday, so they may nail down their plans in Thursday’s show.
In the meantime, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will have tears in her eyes as she updates Jordan on what she’s learned. “Are you accusing them of lying to the police?” Jordan asks Nina in the preview clip.
Jordan will naturally be talking about Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and the rest of Carly’s enablers.
Nina will insist that Carly was there when Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) died – and she won’t believe Carly genuinely tried to help her daughter. Nina will want murder charges, so she’ll cause plenty of issues with her accusations.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) was hoping there wouldn’t be too much pressure, but Nina will pressure the cops with everything she’s got!
Carly and Jax will end up down at the PCPD, where Jax will warn Carly about the fallout that’s brewing. Back with Nina, she’ll turn to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for assistance.
Nina may worry that Carly will get a pass for her actions with the police, so she’ll pursue another avenue to justice. Once Nina fills in Valentin and asks him to help her make Carly pay, Valentin will gladly get on board.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will continue her conversation with Jason about the dangerous drug Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is fighting to fast-track. Portia stood up to Cyrus on the drug issue – and Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander) took a stand against Cyrus, too.
However, Britt will know Cyrus is going to push even harder at the next board meeting, so she’ll get some advice from Jason in Thursday’s episode. Jason will think the smart move is to do nothing, but the waiting game will prove difficult for Britt.
In a private moment, Britt will worry about not having enough time to defeat Cyrus or do anything else for that matter. “Time is something I don’t have,” Britt says grimly in Thursday’s preview video.
Britt has offered some hints that she may be battling a deadly illness, though GH fans don’t know which one just yet. Britt, on the other hand, may have a pretty good idea as a doctor.
Britt’s hand tremor will give her more trouble in the coming episodes and will lead to Britt seeking an official diagnosis at Mercy Hospital. It sounds like Britt already knows what she’s up against, but she’ll eventually look for confirmation.
Until then, Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) will let Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) know she’s found his mother – or at least she’s gotten awfully close. The last GH viewers heard, Jackie knew Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) was being cared for by Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) in Vermont.
That must’ve helped to narrow things down, so Jackie might even be able to pinpoint a more specific location.
General Hospital spoilers say Jackie and Martin will continue their partnership, so they’ll take new steps toward getting Florence back on Thursday.
As for Cyrus, he’ll warn that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) isn’t as usual as he originally thought. Cyrus will make it clear that Brando is expendable if he doesn’t come up with some info regarding his mom soon.
Brando will really be feeling the heat and will worry that Cyrus will kill him if this goes south any further. Jason will ultimately decide he has to do something – and that something will be firing a shot in Brando’s thigh!
General Hospital spoilers say Jason will shoot Brando in the next couple episodes to put on a little show for Cyrus’ sake. This will buy Brando some time and get Cyrus off his back for now.
At The Tan-O, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may get an earful from Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) for leaving the place unattended and letting someone do some major vandalism.
There’s been someone robbing stores in town and leaving them destroyed, so The Tan-O was apparently the last hit.
Officer Ralph Finchley (Tatum Shank) will likely make a return trip to the bar to investigate. Will Officer Finchley mention swiping the mug to run Sonny’s fingerprints? It seems that way based on Thursday’s promo. “Do you know who I am?” Sonny asks in the preview clip.
Of course, there may be some snag that somehow prevented Officer Finchley from identifying “Mike,” so it’ll be interesting to hear his explanation.
General Hospital spoilers say some hot drama’s on the way, so don’t miss what’s in store for Sonny and all your other favorite characters. CDL will have lots of other fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly.
