General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, July 22 Recap – Jordan Runs Away Crying, Sees Curtis & Portia Kiss – Anna Wishes Peter Dead

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 22, reveals that Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) ran away crying after Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) kiss. As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she essentially wished Peter August (Wes Ramsey) dead and felt perhaps she should’ve been the one to pull the trigger!

At the police station, Anna offered updates on what she’d learned in New York City about the man on the roof with Peter. She gave Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) the description the pilot offered and pushed for the details of all this to be kept confidential.

Dante eventually called Anna out for seemingly trusting Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) more than him, but Anna argued that she indeed trusted Dante.

They discussed how the guy on the rooftop might’ve been a hospital employee handpicked by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) – and Dante apologized for being a bit harsh before.

Back at the Metro Court, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) shooed Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) away from pestering Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) by the bar.

Olivia made a comment about the Fourth of July fireworks, which confused Sam into thinking Dante had told her about what happened between them.

Since Olivia just meant the literal fireworks, a flustered Sam covered by explaining all the fire and harbor drama that went down.

Dante backed Sam up after he arrived, which led to some playful arguing between them.

Sam admitted to telling Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) about their kiss, though she didn’t spell out who it was with.

Dante and Sam tried to downplay anything romantic happening between them with some funny banter. Olivia warned them to take their bickering elsewhere since she found it off-putting for the other patrons.

As Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) sat by the Metro Court pool, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) appeared and sat down across from her.

Brando wanted Sasha to know he didn’t want mob drama around their child either, so he was choosing Sasha and the baby.

Brando and Sasha leaned in for a kiss, but Gladys interrupted with more talk about working for the Corinthos organization. She wasn’t happy to learn Brando wouldn’t be headed down that career path after all.

After Brando stepped away, Sasha told Gladys that Brando wouldn’t regret his decision. Gladys cryptically suggested she’d already made that same vow.

Next, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) pushed Jordan to fight for her marriage to Curtis.

Stella wasn’t concerned about Portia’s side of things and felt like Jordan should go say what she needed to say to Curtis.

Meanwhile, Portia stumbled through a complicated speech to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and feared maybe nostalgia was driving their connection. She wondered how much of this was real.

After talking things out, Portia and Curtis were on the same page about taking the risk – though they would take things slow.

Just as Curtis and Portia sealed it with a kiss, Jordan appeared in the distance and looked devastated. She ultimately rushed out of The Savoy crying over what she witnessed.

At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) tried to convince Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) they could put the Peter nightmare behind them.

Finn felt like monsters never really die and remained doubtful about getting away with murder.

Liz eventually agreed to get Anna a list of names – the ones who were on duty the last night Peter was seen.

Finn wound up sharing a conversation with Anna, who thought maybe she should’ve pumped a bullet in Peter when she had the chance. Finn seemed to be reflecting on his own guilt as he argued Anna didn’t mean that.

Before Finn could confess anything, Liz interrupted with the list Anna requested.

Across town, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was curious about Valentin’s trip with Anna. She wondered if they were really just a team or if something more was going on between them.

Valentin acknowledged that things had shifted their relationship lately, but he was focused on tracking down Peter and Louise.

Brook Lynn was thankful to have Valentin as a supportive co-parent, but she admitted what she could really use right now was a friend.

Right on cue, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) appeared in his wheelchair.

In a moment alone with Chase, Brook Lynn offered a hint about the mess she’d gotten into with the best of intentions. She was also pleased to learn Chase had made some recovery progress.

Back with Anna on the phone, she told Valentin that they’d been looking at this all wrong. Anna insisted they had to start looking for Peter’s enemy instead of an ally, so Valentin was intrigued.
