General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, September 2, teases that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will confess he got scammed while Ava Jerome (Maura West) faces a tough goodbye. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will also need Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) guidance, so let’s talk about what’s ahead.
At GH, Scott will talk about a trick he fell for, but perhaps recapping the story of arranging that private plane could be helpful.
Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) certainly won’t have much to go on in this investigation, but she’ll soon get Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to weigh in.
It seems likely Victor Cassadine (last played by Thaao Penghlis) was the one who ordered Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) snatching, but Anna and Jordan should remain in the dark on that for now.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also have questions about Liesl’s disappearance, but she’ll be more interested in why someone else seems so fixated on this case. While Britt confronts that mysterious someone, Jax will decide to take a trip to Spring Ridge.
That’s where Jax will open up to Alexis and seek some words of wisdom. It looks like Alexis will warn Jax to walk away, so she may think it’s a bad idea to head down any kind of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) road again.
Nevertheless, Jax will end up making a phone call and will mention that if anybody knows, it’s Nina.
Whether Jax shares his Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) suspicions or not, he definitely has questions that only Nina can answer.
Jax will ultimately choose to travel to Nixon Falls and see for himself whether Sonny is alive or not.
This should still seem crazy to Jax on some level, but he also can’t ignore the sauce clue plus the time he thought he saw Sonny in front of him.
Next, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will sit there gawking while Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) snaps at Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
Spencer will point out that there’s another threat besides Ava’s stalker – meaning Nikolas of course.
Nikolas will face another lecture from Spencer since he pretended to stab his own son and scared his friends at the Wyndemere bash.
It’ll be interesting to see if Esme pipes up and pretends to want peace for Spencer as well as Nikolas.
As for Ava, she’ll fill Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) in on her decision to leave Port Charles. Trina will immediately start the waterworks and insist she needs Ava there in town with her.
Trina will hate to lose Ava as a friend and mentor, but Ava may push Trina to lean on Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) more as problems come along. Even so, Ava and Trina will face a difficult farewell – at least for now.
Ava will also check on Scott in the hospital and push to find out if the divorce has gone through. She may have concerns since Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) left PC unexpectedly, but Scott will hopefully have some updates!
