General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, August 24, tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have an encounter – and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will face a disturbing twist in Nixon Falls. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also receive a shocking visitor in captivity, so here’s what viewers can expect.
First, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will clash with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) regarding the will situation. “I’ll be damned if I let you get a dime,” Brook Lynn snarls in Tuesday’s preview video.
Of course, Austin may argue that it’ll be up to a judge in probate court, so there really isn’t much Brook Lynn can do.
At GH, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will mutter about how something will never work. She’ll end up at odds with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) – and Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will inadvertently become the reason why.
Liz will manage to reignite the tension between Terry and Britt, so it looks like she may be reprimanded for it. “Are you scolding me right now?” Liz asks with a disbelieving grin in Tuesday’s promo.
Liz may find it amusing to see Terry acting so bossy, but she’ll no doubt be sorry for stirring up trouble.
Once Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is back in Port Charles, she’ll be over the moon about what appears to be a new job. “When do I get started?!” Maxie enthusiastically asks in the preview clip.
We know Maxie will talk to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about her wedding soon, so it sounds like Maxie will appoint herself wedding planner and hope it serves as a nice distraction.
Carly will also speak with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about how their wedding needs to be real and as public as it gets.
Jason will sense that Carly’s on edge, so he’ll offer reassurance and promise they’re going to get through this together.
As for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), she’ll complain to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about Peter.
Sam will insist she’d like to kill Peter with her bare hands for going after Drew and setting his whole nightmare in motion.
However, Sam should eventually settle down and focus on the task at hand, which is finding Drew and hopefully bringing him home.
In Drew’s prison cell, he’ll be surprised by someone who enters. “Who are you?” a confused Drew asks in Tuesday’s preview video.
Based on the weekly promo where Drew utters Scout Cain’s (Ella Ramacieri) name, he may have a vision of an aged version that he almost doesn’t recognize at first.
Drew will imagine Sam and Scout standing in front of him, though they’ll be a tad blurry initially.
Of course, there could also be an unpleasant face who comes along later – perhaps a new guard or someone who’s been ordered to dish out some punishment for all Drew’s misbehavior.
Drew will continue to have a rough time while he’s locked up, so don’t miss what’s in store.
Next, let’s talk about the Peter drama in Nixon Falls.
Peter August (Wes Ramsey) saw Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) leaving The Tan-O, but he’s about to cross paths with “Mike” aka Sonny.
“Mike” will wonder if Peter’s all right and will mention that it looks like he’s seen a ghost.
It won’t take long for Peter to figure out that Sonny has amnesia, so he’ll wrap his head around that and try to befriend him.
Peter will also give Nina quite a shock when he walks in The Tan-O, where she’ll drop and shatter a tray of glasses at the sight of him.
Nina will soon be backed into a corner since Peter will know the deep, dark secret she’s keeping about Sonny’s survival!
Back in Port Charles, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will get ready to make a full confession to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) intends to help with the difficult truth about their feelings for each other, but we’ll see how long Chase lets him stick around!
