General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, January 5 – Jason’s Disturbing News for Sam – Franco’s Meltdown – Obrecht’s Dante Trouble

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, January 5, tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will sit down for a crucial conversation with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Valentin will have a heartfelt plea to deliver, but Nina will think it’s time to stop kidding herself.

It sounds like Valentin will beg Nina to let him find her biological daughter, but she may think she needs to move on with her life.

Nina may remind Valentin that he already tried and failed. Valentin even gave Nina a fake daughter when he schemed with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), so Nina may not see the point in Valentin trying again. Instead, Nina might insist the search is over and push Valentin to focus his attention on something besides her.

Meanwhile, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will have a run-in with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Robert may admit he’s willing to put aside his animosity for Peter – but only for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) sake. “Do not make me regret it,” Robert warns in Tuesday’s GH preview video.

Next, Maxie will get choked up over Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) still being in a coma. Lulu’s missing so much, including the planning of Maxie and Peter’s double wedding with Anna and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will struggle to be happy when Lulu’s whole life is stuck in limbo.

As for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll be suspicious when he meets with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Liesl will insist she’ll be taking over for Dr. Warren Kirk (Jamison Jones), but Dante will think all of this seems pretty fishy.

“I’m not working with you until I get confirmation from the WSB,” Dante insists in Tuesday’s preview clip.

While Obrecht tries to convince Dante to trust her, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will have a major meltdown. Tuesday’s promo shows an agitated Franco yelling, “Just stop it!”

It looks Franco will continue to hear Peter’s voice in his head – perhaps louder and in a more intense way. Franco will be desperate for this bizarre experience to stop, but Liesl will have very different plans!

Later, Anna will hear about Franco’s treatments with Obrecht and express surprise. If Liesl realizes Anna’s in the loop and could put her plot in jeopardy, there’ll be big trouble brewing sooner or later.

As for Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), they’ll debate whether Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is truly protected in Port Charles.

Nina urged Jax to respect his nearly adult daughter’s wishes, but he needs updates on the situation from Carly. Although Carly will insist Josslyn is safe, Jax may not agree once he finds out about Florence Grey’s (Annie Abbott) kidnapping.

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is furious and could easily fight back, but Carly won’t think Cyrus would risk something happening to his mom. While Jax and Carly bicker on Tuesday, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will take the blame for Carly’s move during his discussion with Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

Laura will insist that Jason has turned this into a war, but Jason may promise that it’s handled – even if he can’t be sure of that! Afterward, Jason will visit Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and fill her in on the disturbing news about the crossed Cyrus line.

Sam needs to be kept in the loop since danger could be looming for the kids if this battle gets out of hand.
