General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, November 2 Recap – Jason Refuses to Shoot Drew – Peter Gains New Hostages

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 2, reveals Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) surrendered his gun after refusing to shoot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so Peter August (Wes Ramsey) gained some new hostages. Here’s how the GH drama played out on Tuesday’s exciting episode.

At the boathouse, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) freaked over spearing Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and refused to let her mom die. Liesl was tickled pink that Britt had come all this way to save her and suggest that joy was enough to numb her pain.

Britt found something for Obrecht to bite down on as she worked at pushing the spear through, but Liesl passed out. Later, Britt wrapped a bandage around Liesl’s abdomen and insisted they would still need to get her to a hospital.

Obrecht was hopeful that Jason and Britt had reunited, but her daughter insisted they were simply working together. Britt explained that Jason married Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) before Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) returned.

Though the marriage was invalid, Britt still felt Jason put Carly first. Soon after, Britt and Liesl heard a noise just outside the door and were alarmed.

Inside Peter’s compound, he got down on the floor and said he had something Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) wanted. Jason pointed his gun at Peter, who argued that Jason would never get it if he killed him.

When Jason declared that he wanted Obrecht, that news surprised Peter – who decided Jason was apparently doing this for Britt or that Britt had perhaps come along.

At gunpoint, Peter followed Jason’s orders to tell his guards to converge on the lighthouse. Jason then led Peter out in another direction.

Once Jason arrived at the boathouse with Peter, Britt and Liesl already had company! Armed Drew was there with his gun on Britt, which led to Jason finding out about his brother’s conditioning.

Liesl urged Drew to think of Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri), but she basically confirmed that it’d be impossible to snap Drew out of this. Obrecht insisted Drew would complete the mission to kill as long as he was activated.

That meant Britt could get hurt, but she was willing to take her chances and pushed Jason to just shoot Peter already. Jason wouldn’t risk it, so Peter suggested his options were to put the gun down or kill his brother.

Rather than shoot Drew, Jason dropped the gun and soon found himself on the floor at Peter’s mercy. Now that Peter and Drew were both armed, Peter suggested they would all live a little longer.

Back in Port Charles, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) showed up at the gallery looking for a real friend.

Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) listened to Spencer talk about his latest issues with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), but she couldn’t trust him anymore and was tired of empty promises.

Trina made it clear that to rebuild that trust, Spencer needed to take charge of his own life and start proving himself with his actions.

At Kelly’s, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) was furious since he stuck his neck out for Spencer, who walked off the job on his first day.

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) urged Cameron to cut Spencer some slack and thought some time away from Port Charles would be good. She hinted at a getaway, so Cameron asked if she meant a road trip – and Esme gushed that it was a wonderful idea.

Esme looked at some cabins on her phone that were rustic on the outside and modern on the inside.

Esme suggested she could stay with “Spence” while Cameron stayed with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Both Cameron and Joss seemed uncomfortable before Cam insisted he couldn’t take the time off work.

Once Cameron walked away, Esme inquired about how long Joss had been dating Cameron. She pushed Josslyn’s buttons by acting like it was fine that they hadn’t slept together yet.

Esme suggested it didn’t happen right away with Spencer either, but Joss didn’t want Esme’s opinion on this and made it clear that they weren’t friends.

Later, Spencer showed up and immediately got fired by Cameron. However, Cameron had a change of heart and let Spencer keep his job after a heartfelt plea.

Back with Josslyn, she spoke to Trina over the phone and made plans to talk to her at the gallery. Right after Joss dashed off, a spying Esme appeared.

At Spring Ridge, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) got updates on Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) chance at a pardon and wondered why she was acting like it was a bad thing.

Harmony asked if Alexis would rather remain locked up and got Alexis to acknowledge that it’d be tough rebuilding her life on the outside.

Nevertheless, Alexis put the focus back on Nikolas’ dirty moves and refused to go along with Nikolas’ deal. As for Nikolas, he talked to Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) on the pier about how there was no real evidence against him.

Nikolas pointed out that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) already knew he was behind the hit and had let bygones be bygones when they teamed up.

Nikolas pushed Shawn to let this go and made a starting offer of $500,000. Shawn balked, but Nikolas pushed him to leave the past behind and invest in the future.

General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will land in more trouble soon enough, so stay tuned.
