General Hospital Spoilers Update: Thursday, April 1 – Nina’s Guilt Coping Sonny Strategy – Cam Slams Jason – Liz’s Jake Dilemma

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, April 1, teases that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will get fed up with having to defend himself. Jason wasn’t behind Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) murder, but that hasn’t stopped some people in town from pointing the finger at him.

Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) bogus eyewitness account certainly hasn’t helped matters for Jason, so he’ll remain in lockup when Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) stops by to rip into him.

Scott will hurl deadly accusations, but Jason will shout that he didn’t kill Franco. He’ll probably push Scott to think about this logically and realize Jason wouldn’t have been sloppy enough to get caught.

Jason was set up, so he may point Scott in Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) direction on Thursday, April 1. When Scott meets up with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), he’ll listen to some new scheme of hers.

Liesl will back Jason up when it comes to Peter’s guilt and perhaps hope Scott can help with his takedown. Scott will have reservations about the drama that’ll inevitably result, but he’ll likely be on board since it could mean justice for Franco.

Across town, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will continue to hold Jason responsible for Franco’s death – and it seems he’ll want Jake Webber (Hudson West) to know exactly the kind of man his father is.

Cameron will probably slam Jason in front of Jake and try to poison his younger brother against his dad. After Cam insists Jason is the reason their stepfather’s gone forever, Jake should be deeply troubled. He won’t know what to believe, so he’ll turn to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) for answers.

Jake will question if Jason’s really to blame for Franco’s demise. Liz will tackle this Jake dilemma as best as she can and probably assure Jake that the cops will get to the truth. Regardless, Elizabeth will want Jake to feel safe and loved during this unsettling time for their family.

Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will be busy chewing Cameron out for his actions. She’ll feel like Cam’s move was impulsive and immature. Cameron is supposed to be stepping up for his brothers and supporting them. From where Josslyn is standing, Cam will be downright cruel to Jake instead.

Cameron may argue that Jake’s old enough to understand and won’t seem sorry for speaking his mind. Although Josslyn will understand that Cameron is hurting, she’ll lash out since this isn’t the best way to handle it.

Elizabeth will agree that Cameron was being heartless in that moment, so she’ll push him to get a grip on his anger. She won’t want Cam’s desire for vengeance to lead him down a dark path, but it’s a little late for that since he’s already on it!

Other General Hospital spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will keep connecting at The Tan-O. As Nina works on her Crimson story, she’ll get Sonny chatting about his missing history again.

Nina will offer encouragement if Sonny would like to remember what he’s lost. She’ll have a guilty conscience since she still hasn’t told Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) or anyone else the truth back in Port Charles.

However, Sonny may say something to ease Nina’s mind on Thursday’s GH episode. Sonny already pointed out that sometimes recalling his old life is all he can think about, but other times he feels he’s on the verge of something big. Perhaps Sonny will reiterate that last part and feel like this fresh start may be just what he needs.

Nina will find a way to handle the guilt she’s facing and will tell herself this is for the best. She won’t think Carly deserves a reunion – and she’ll think “Mike” is doing just fine on his own!

Nina will form a stronger bond with Sonny and get caught up in this new world with him, so this is shaping up to be an intriguing storyline.

Back in PC, Carly will refuse to let Peter sense any fear. She’ll stand her ground when it comes to not letting Peter or anyone else get the better of her.

Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will wish Carly would let law enforcement and all the other Peter schemers handle things, but Carly will refuse to stop fighting for Jason’s freedom.

At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place, she’ll respond to Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) question about how far she’s willing to go with Peter. Although Maxie won’t want to take any more risks that she has to, she’ll indeed be willing to put a lot on the line for her baby’s sake.

Protecting Baby Lou is what matters most, so there’s really no limit to what Maxie will do for her daughter. We’ll offer updates as other GH news becomes available.

General Hospital spoilers say Maxie’s plan to fake her little girl’s death will bring some hurdles, so stay tuned. CDL will have tons of other fantastic General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so make us your go-to source.
