General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 14, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will decide to lie to Papa Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) while Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) warns Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will also face a sudden disaster, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
In Nixon Falls, “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will react to some terrible updates on Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) condition.
However, Sonny won’t want to give up hope despite how bleak things look. He’ll insist on figuring out a way to help – and his strategy could involve Nina.
Speaking of Nina, she’ll struggle to make sense of Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) baby ramblings.
Maxie will have to calm down and explain how Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) ended up being cared for by Brook Lynn.
Maxie will reveal that Brook Lynn faked her pregnancy to score ELQ shares and needed a baby to pull off her plan.
Since Maxie also needed a safe home for Louise until Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was captured, Louise became “Bailey Quartermaine” – and Valentin Cassadine was deceived.
Nina will be a bit torn since Valentin adores “Bailey” and believes she’s his own daughter.
However, Nina will vow to stay silent for now since Louise’s safety is at risk. Brook Lynn will be glad to know Nina’s going to keep the secret once she gets filled in later.
Until then, Brook Lynn will push Austin to run in the opposite direction while he still can. Brook Lynn won’t think Austin knows what he’s getting himself into by going up against the powerful Quartermaine clan.
Nevertheless, Austin seems totally confident and is ready to secure his piece of the Quartermaine pie. As Jimmy Lee Holt’s (Steve Bond) son, he’s got a Quartermaine connection.
Austin will feel like he’s entitled to what Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was once entitled to. He’ll cause quite a fuss at the ELQ meeting, which could take a shocking turn in terms of who’ll be the CEO.
Valentin could easily remain in power with Austin’s help, so we’ll see how it all plays out. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will be left reeling no matter what!
There’ll also be some new info for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to ponder, so Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will question if this pertains to Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
After a new clue that surfaces, Anna may reveal whether it’s truly about Peter or perhaps about Louise. We know a lead involving the baby will come into play soon, but it’ll kick off a bit of a wild goose chase since Louise is right there in Port Charles.
As for Anna and Finn’s relationship, they’ll have to deal with the awkwardness of getting along as exes.
Finn’s hiding a huge secret since he killed Peter and hid him in the sub-basement freezer, so that’ll be something that weighs on him during this discussion.
At Wyndemere, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will hope to bring Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) together as father and son.
Laura will be tired of all the tension and will push them to be a united family again.
After Laura pushes Nikolas to make an apologetic speech, he’ll indeed let Spencer know he’s sorry.
Since Nikolas will get a surprise that delights him on Wednesday’s GH episode, Spencer may forgive Nikolas and announce that he wants a clean slate.
Nikolas should be thrilled if Spencer indeed gives him a second chance, but Spencer will keep his father in the dark on his stalker secret. Over with Ava, she’ll be upset over some issue with the launch.
Could Ava get stuck on the island and be forced to stay at Wyndemere with Spencer and Nikolas for the night? That could bring some awkward moments and set up more trouble!
