General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, June 16, teases that there’ll be a Peter August (Wes Ramsey) corpse problem while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) plays love doctor and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) seeks wedding answers.
For starters on Wednesday’s episode, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will mull over the path he’s headed down as a new father and how that’ll affect his future.
During a meeting with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Brando will make a pitch and clarify where he stands.
Although Brando would find a more profitable career within the mob, he may want to break away from that now that all the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) chaos is over.
Brando needs to stay alive and stick around for his little one, so hopefully he’ll focus on the garage and other safe forms of saving up money.
While Brando makes plans, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will focus on her upcoming wedding to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
When Sasha finds out Willow accepted Chase’s marriage proposal, she’ll grow confused about the reason for it – and about why it’s happening so fast.
Since Chase is deathly ill, Willow will have to break the news and explain why Chase’s final wish must be granted ASAP. Over with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll corner Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) to apologize for their issues in the not-so-distant past.
Cyrus isn’t in control of GH anymore, so Britt may commit to providing a better work environment from now on.
Somebody will pay Cyrus a visit that he feels is long overdue, so we’ll see who that is on Wednesday’s episode. It could be Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) since we know she’ll drop in on someone unexpectedly, but there are other possibilities to consider depending on which enemy decides to lash out.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will be up and dressed as he prepares to go home, so his recovery will be going well. Nina will be relieved to know Curtis survived his latest ordeal and will be happy to lend an ear regarding Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
Curtis will fill Nina in on his hesitation after the kiss and how it led to Portia seemingly cutting off their romantic chances. He’ll feel like he really blew it, but Nina may argue that all hope isn’t lost.
Thanks to Nina’s time in Nixon Falls with “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Nina is brimming with optimism and all about second chances. She may assure Curtis that he just has to fight for what he wants and make himself crystal clear.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will have a chat with Portia as well, so that’ll bring an opportunity for Portia to open up about pumping the brakes. Maybe Laura will question if that’s what Portia and Curtis really want.
Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) discouraged Portia from pursuing Curtis and encouraged Jordan to win him back, so she’s been making a bit of a mess.
All parties involved will have to figure out where their hearts truly lie and perhaps accept what they can’t change in some cases.
As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll be puzzled when Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) doubts Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will be located. Finn will accidentally seem far too certain of that, so Anna will quiz him about why he feels that way.
It looks like Finn will explain away his comments and just act like Peter may be awfully good at disappearing. Anna will wind up trying to open the service elevator door at some point soon.
It seems Finn and Liz may have dumped Peter’s corpse in the elevator shaft, so Liz will hope to stop Anna from uncovering deadly evidence.
