General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will get stranded together during the week of June 28-July 1. Will hot temptation and surrender to passion follow?
Anna and Valentin always seem to dance around their powerful connection, but maybe it’s time for them to just acknowledge what’s between them and go for it.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) recently expressed doubt that Valentin and Anna were merely friends. That could’ve been a hint ahead of this storyline where Anna and Valentin get stranded.
We can’t ignore what often happens when two characters who have complicated feelings get stuck in one place together. Take Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for example.
They were able to strengthen their bond through their time in hiding, which led to them making some very personal confessions and making love.
This could be a chance for Valentin and Anna to do the same. Of course, General Hospital hasn’t revealed the circumstances surrounding this stranded situation, but we know Anna and Valentin will team up to find a missing loved one soon.
That mission could be what sets up Valentin and Anna getting trapped together.
Summer preview info already confirmed Anna would NOT be without romance despite her breakup with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Will Valentin be the man Anna takes a romantic interest in?
Their friendship clearly runs deep at this point, so it’s easy to imagine it growing even further and pushing them into romantic territory.
This could set the stage for flying sparks once Anna and Valentin are trapped wherever they end up. It feels like GH writers are constantly teasing Valentin and Anna as a potential pairing without ever really going anywhere with them.
Is that about to change through this stranded story? Anna and Valentin fans will certainly hold out hope!
