General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 25, tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will deliver his demands to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) while a false lead develops in the Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) case. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will also accuse Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) of lying, but it’s Spencer himself who’ll remain the master of deception.
At the Quartermaine mansion on Wednesday’s show, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will insist that they’re not buying Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) sob story.
Brook Lynn will stand against Austin’s threat to the Quartermaine clan, but could Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) suddenly decide to be a bit more understanding?
GH spoilers say Austin will see Michael in a new light, so we’ll see if Michael shifts his perspective.
After all, if Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) wanted his will changed as this document proves, it seems like his wishes should be honored.
Of course, it’s also possible Michael will dig his heels in and show Austin a more ruthless side, so we’ll see how it goes!
Regardless, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will speak with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) alone as they continue their latest conversation.
Willow remain terribly sorry since she’ll always love Chase for the sacrifice he made for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) sake.
However, Willow wasn’t happy about Chase helping Austin behind Michael’s back. She may act like it’s not like Chase to be vindictive and push for a path to peace.
Next, Spencer will find himself stuck in an awkward situation with Trina and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Trina will have a pained look on her face as Spencer calls her out on a lie, but he’ll probably just be trying to cover his own tracks.
“Spence” is the far more likely liar if we’re talking about Spencer and Trina!
Perhaps Esme will push Trina’s buttons and cause Trina to allude to Spencer’s flirting. Spencer has been acting like he was on a mission to woo Trina, so it came as quite a shock when he had a girlfriend from Europe.
Since Spencer now seems eager to keep Esme under control, that means striking another blow to Trina on Wednesday’s episode.
In Nixon Falls, Nina will be armed with the gun from behind the bar as she frets over Peter’s next move.
Peter may insist there’s no need for things to get messy, but Nina will push Peter to just tell her what he wants.
You can bet Peter will want Nina’s silence about his survival and this Nixon Falls sighting, but he may take this a step further and push for help getting Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) back.
If Nina doesn’t go along with Peter’s demands or leads to his capture, he could blow the lid off the huge Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) secret she’s keeping.
Over with “Mike,” he’ll check on Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) again and see how she’s holding up after the loss of Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton).
Sonny will talk about how he’d be lucky to find what Phyllis and Lenny had, so Phyllis may hope that “Mike” and Nina will share that kind of love if it continues to bloom.
Back in Port Charles, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have another tense meeting. Jax will wonder if this is what it’s going to be like between them from now on, but Carly will admit that’s not what she wants.
It’s not a good idea to put Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) through all the fighting, so Carly and Jax will try to get along for the sake of their daughter.
Next, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will find Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) at the Metro Court.
It’ll be devastating for Maxie to see “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise again and not be able to claim her as her own child.
Nevertheless, Maxie feels like she has no choice if she wants to protect Louise from Peter.
It turns out there’ll be a bit of a curveball since there’s been a development in Louise’s case. That news will shock Maxie since she’ll know Louise is right there in Valentin’s arms!
There’ll be some inaccurate information that’ll tie in with Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) upcoming plot.
It looks like Liesl may use this false lead to her advantage, so stick with us for updates.
