General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, February 3 Recap - Peter Fires Dante - Maxie Talks To Nathan - Cyrus Says Mom or Else!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 3, reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Jordan Ashford (Tiffany Daniels) continued their discussion in Jordan’s office.

Cyrus offered to make sure that Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) went free if Jordan got Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) home safely. Outside the office, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) listened.

Meanwhile, over at the Metro Court, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) talked with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) via phone. Valentin urged Martin to get Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) to back off her story about Florence.

Valentin then went to the cemetery, where he visited Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) grave.

Back at the Metro Court, Jackie attempted to get two words out of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as she rambled on about The Floating Rib explosion and Cyrus being behind it.

Brando called Jason to say that they had a situation because Cyrus was at the PCPD putting pressure on Jordan to find Florence.

Jason soon returned to Jackie, who went on about how kidnapping an elderly woman didn’t seem to be his style. Martin walked up and interrupted Jackie and Jason’s one-sided conversation, and Jason took the opportunity to leave.

Martin told Jackie that she didn’t need to waste her time on his mother’s kidnapping any longer. Jackie wondered what the turnaround was about.

Just then, Valentin arrived and pulled up a chair, offering Jackie another story. Jackie wasn’t interested, but then Valentin said that Jackie could get involved and help them rescue Florence. Jackie was intrigued.

Back in Jordan’s office, Cyrus said that he’d refuse to cooperate with the DA in the federal charges against Taggert if Jordan found Florence. Jordan refused, and Cyrus threatened her, saying if any harm comes to his mother, not a person she loved would remain standing.

At the hospital, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) talked with Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) about her father. Trina said that she felt conflicted about Taggert, and she wondered if she could visit him. Trina admitted to worrying about her father being in jail all alone, yet she was still angry with him.

Cyrus and Brando walked up, and Cyrus blurted that he was just at the PCPD lobbying for Taggert’s release, but Jordan turned him down flat.

Trina was horrified by this, and Portia sent Trina off, then turned on Cyrus and warned him to stay away from Trina. Cyrus mused that he was just trying to free Taggert.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) lingered in a room set up for an AA meeting, then she nearly left but bumped into Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who encouraged her to stay.

The meeting began, and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) said a few words to start off the discussion.

Curtis spoke, and he discussed that he’s been questioning lately whether he put his faith in the right place, and he talked about how he worked hard to get to where is is.

Alexis shared next, going on about her addiction and honestly saying that she didn’t know if she even cared if she stopped drinking. Afterwards, Alexis got her 24-hour sober chip from Monica.

In Dante Falconeri’s (Dominick Zamprogna) room, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) asked if Dante could forgive Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Just then, Peter approached the door and eavesdropped on the conversation.

Maxie and Dante had a lengthy conversation about how Peter was Nathan’s half-brother, and Dante thought that’s why Maxie latched onto Peter.

Maxie disagreed, saying that she loved Peter for who he was. Peter then made his presence known and pretended to innocently walk in. Maxie and Peter eventually took off, and Maxie was feeling emotional.

After Maxie left, Peter went back into Dante’s room and said that it was too complicated having him work at The Invader. Peter then fired Dante.

At the nurses’ station, Curtis and Portia talked briefly, while Cyrus and Brando walked by. Cyrus fumed at Brando that he’s relying on him to bring Florence home. “You don’t want to see me disappointed!” Cyrus raged.

In the Corinthos kitchen, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) talked with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to find out where Jason was hiding Florence. Carly was mum on details, and she said that she wouldn’t intercede with Jason.

Laura pointed out that Martin was very worried about his mother, and that he was making inquiries with the media.

Soon, Laura got a text from Jordan and left, and Jason dropped by. Carly and Jason talked around the issue of Martin’s inquiries, and ultimately Jason said that he couldn’t give up his leverage against Cyrus.

Carly and Jason also talked about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) funeral, and about the Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) situation, which Carly said she was handling.

Back at Jordan’s office, Laura and Jordan talked about how to get to Cyrus. They decided that there might be something regarding the hospital that they could use against him. A

fter a long conversation, Laura and Jordan decided that they could possibly get Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) or Brando to turn on Cyrus.

Back at the cemetery, Maxie visited Nathan’s gravesite. Maxie talked to Nathan and admitted to being confused now. Maxie wondered aloud whether she wasn’t seeing Peter clearly. “You would know what to do right now,” Maxie cried. “I wish I did.”
