General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 9-13 tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will face a cryptic message while Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) makes a discovery related to Naomi Dreyfus. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also head toward the sizzling next level, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
For starters, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will spark an idea for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) – one that could perhaps be used to draw Willow Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) away from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and back in her husband’s direction.
As for Michael, his strange behavior will leave Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) curious. Brook Lynn may figure out that Michael and Willow slept together behind Chase’s back, which obviously isn’t news she’d approve of!
Over with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), he’ll find out about the letter Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) sent to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
GH fans recently learned that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) takes down letters for Ryan, so Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) should click that part of the puzzle into place for Nikolas.
Nevertheless, the letter still came from Ryan’s twisted mind – and now he’s got a dangerous helper at Spring Ridge.
There’ll be a lot for Nikolas to panic about, so look for him to confide his Spencer concerns to Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
As for Spencer, he may consider backing out of the party he promised to throw at Wyndemere. That’s especially true if Nikolas is firmly against it.
However, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will really want a chance to let loose, so she’ll push Spencer to make sure this bash actually happens.
Later, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will prepare for the party along with Spencer, so we’ll see if Spencer can play nice like Laura wants. In Nixon Falls, Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) will be adamant about living life with no regrets from now on.
That could mean living dangerously in some ways, but Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will understand Lenny’s point of view.
Meanwhile, Nina will feel closer to Sonny than ever – and she’ll feel more hopeful about their future together, too.
It sounds like “Mike” and Nina might hit the sheets, so taking their relationship to the next level could leave Nina all in on what she wants.
Back in Port Charles, Shawn will find Naomi Dreyfus and hope she can provide some answers about Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).
Hayden’s mom could be Shawn and Sam’s best shot at tracking Hayden down and figuring out who was behind the shooting.
As for Sam, she’ll also receive a cryptic message. It could prove rather unsettling, but it looks like Sam will have Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) dig around and get back to her.
Dante will end up giving Sam info on a case, so this could tie in with presumed dead Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) since his return is coming up.
In the meantime, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will use Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) as a confidant and ultimately spar with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) safety will remain a big issue for Jax, who’ll give Jason a piece of his mind.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will grow concerned about the pressure Jason’s under and will blame herself for it.
This engagement could put a strain on Jason and Carly’s friendship if they aren’t careful, so stick with us for the latest GH updates!
