General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of December 27-31 teases that Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) hearing will explode while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) needs her unlucky streak to end. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also get a big surprise, so let’s dive in and talk about what’s coming up in the week ahead.
First, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will fight hard to get Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to spill what he wants on the witness stand.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have a hard time figuring out the angle Scott’s working while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) grows nervous about the bombshell that’s brewing.
Although Scott’s upcoming move will help Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) stay out of jail, she’ll still hate that he’s about to blow things up. Nevertheless, Scott has a job to do, so he intends to do it!
Sooner or later, Nina and Sonny’s romantic connection will be revealed, so Carly just might storm out of the courtroom in the end.
Sonny will face Carly’s fury as tries to help her understand the complex situation. Even so, Carly may worry that Sonny is still in love with Nina – and part of Sonny certainly seems to be.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) just won’t be able to get Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) off her mind.
Between Brook Lynn’s hot dreams and all the chemistry-filled moments they’ll keep having, it’ll be tough for BLQ to keep Chase in the friend zone.
Next, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will give dear “Britta” her special Christmas gift just a little late. Britt won’t mind as she opens up Obrecht’s present and most likely finds herself pleasantly surprised.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will chase the ghosts of Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) past with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) as his right-hand man on the investigation.
Drew’s strategy will bring some interesting info, but Curtis will be convinced there’s even more to uncover.
Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) knows far more than she’s letting on, so she’ll be uncomfortable when Curtis complains about his father’s secrets.
Later, Stella will meet up with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and may offer a hint or two about the complicated position she’s in.
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will also land in a situation where he feels the need to defend Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), so Shawn should be grateful that TJ’s willing to step up for him.
As for Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), they’ll head to GH for an appointment with Leo Falconeri’s (Easton Rocket Sweda).
Leo’s doctor will admit that in his professional opinion, the boy is indeed on the autism spectrum.
While Olivia and Ned process that confirmation and look to the future for Leo, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will have an unexpected encounter with Spencer Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
It’s possible Spencer will be upset and in need of a friend since Joss will let Cameron Webber (William Lipton) know she has to abandon their plans.
That’s bound to sting for Cameron since it’ll be New Year’s Eve! Will Cam really spend the holiday all alone or could Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) get closer to him while he’s vulnerable?
There’s even a chance Esme will arrange for Cameron and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) to bond instead, but the point is Esme will remain a source of drama!
Speaking of drama, Alexis will feel like she’s had more than enough for a lifetime. She’ll really be hoping this unlucky streak of hers comes to an end in the new year.
There’ll be some celebratory scenes at The Savoy as the clock strikes midnight on GH. Curtis and Portia will welcome a fresh start along with other PC residents who’ll be hopeful about love and wiping the slate clean.
