General Hospital Spoilers: Week of October 4 Update – Phyllis' Surprise Visit - Peter Threatens Victor – Valentin's Escape

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of October 4-8 teases that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will lose his patience and make a demand of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) while trapped Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) needs an escape strategy.

For starters, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will disagree about Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) motives for hiding Sonny all that time.

Carly will continue to fume over what she views as a revenge plot, but Sonny won’t think it was that simple.

Sonny will have to decide whether he’s going to explain how he wooed Nina as “Mike” and constantly declared he wanted no part of his past. Nina’s heart was torn as a result, so she deserves at least a little defending here.

No matter how much Sonny divulges, Carly should be upset when it seems like he’s sticking up for Nina.

Elsewhere, Nina will wonder if she still has a friendship with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) after what she did. Curtis can hate that Nina kept Sonny’s survival a secret without hating Nina herself, so they should remain pals.

Next, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will pay the price for his own mistakes.

After getting financially disowned and thrown out of the house, Spencer will be outraged with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Never mind the fact that Spencer tormented Nikolas’ wife and nearly drove her out of the country!

Nikolas has every right to be angry over all the lies and manipulation, but Spencer will still feel snubbed.

Spencer will face Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) anger as well, but Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will let her compassionate side win out.

Trina will step up for Spencer when he needs her most, so he’ll appreciate having someone like her to lean on.

GH fans will also see some Monte Carlo excitement as Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) head to a casino and do some pretending.

It seems Sam will throw a drink in Dante’s face to cover in some situation, but their con will take a wrong turn when it works better than planned.

Security might put the pair in a holding area or even call the cops, so there’ll be some issues to work through. Sam will find herself in need of consoling and will share some close moments with Dante.

It sounds like Dante will comfort Sam regarding Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) disappearance and this rescue that isn’t happening fast enough.

Sam just wants to get Scout Cain’s (Ella Ramacieri) father back to her, so Dante may push Sam to keep hope alive.

Next, Valentin will look like he’s seen a ghost when he gets abducted and plopped in Drew’s jail cell. Valentin will have a fierce faceoff with Victor as well, but Valentin’s main goal will be escaping alive!

At some point, an impatient Peter will hand down an ultimatum to his partner in crime.

Victor surely won’t approve of Peter making demands and dishing out threats. After Victor reminds Peter that he’s calling the shots here, he might offer some little nugget just to keep Peter satisfied.

Victor has proven he knows things he shouldn’t really know, so maybe he’s secretly in the loop on Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) plot to keep Louise August aka “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) safe.

GH viewers know Valentin’s biological father is still a mystery, too. That could be something else that comes out during Valentin’s time as a hostage, but General Hospital spoilers say Victor will definitely reveal something shocking and significant.

As for Maxie, she’ll have a startling realization about a friendship. Maxie might admit to herself that she’s falling for Austin Galtin-Holt (Roger Howarth) – or maybe Maxie will sense that Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) romantic feelings for her have returned.

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn will let Austin know she’s sorry for lashing out over Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda).

Once accepts that Austin had legitimate concerns, Brook Lynn will offer a heartfelt apology and thank him for caring.

After Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) seeks some form of help from Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will fume.

Joss will feel like Esme’s using Cam – perhaps to keep herself out of jail since Spencer’s headed there eventually.

As for Alexis, she’ll get a visit from Nikolas and scold him for pushing Spencer away. Alexis will think communication is key between this father and son, but they’ll be livid with each other.

The hunt for Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) will also heat up, so Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will speak with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) as he digs deeper.

Across town, Sonny and Carly will react to a stunning visitor, so we’ll see if that might be Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) or somebody else.

The week of October 4-8 will bring some action-packed episodes, so we’ll provide updates as other news rolls in.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny’s future will come with some setbacks, so keep watching.
