General Hospital Spoilers: Will Peter Exit or Be Redeemed? – Tristan Rogers Leaks Behind-the-Scenes Wes Ramsey Details

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) downfall has been building for quite some time – and now we’re finally seeing his past start to catch up with him.

What does that mean for Peter’s future? Will Peter exit or be redeemed? In a revealing new video, Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) leaked a behind-the-scenes scoop that included some hints about what’s ahead and a plea for Wes Ramsey’s sake.

In that video that was made for a fan and shared on social media, Rogers suggested viewers shouldn’t be too hard on Ramsey and argued that the story itself was the problem. “He’s got himself into a horrible storyline, and the storyline is the fault of the show,” Rogers said.

Rogers went on to talk about the mess that’s been created and how General Hospital writers are struggling to fix it at this point. “And what they’ve literally done is they’ve painted themselves into a corner and they don’t know how to get out of it except to make it worse,” Rogers admitted.

The obvious solution here is to just get rid of Peter! Many GH fans have been begging for Peter’s exit since that’s usually what happens when a character’s painted into a corner as Rogers has described.

It’d be incredibly easy to kill Peter off or send him to prison and just pair Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) with someone else. Peter lifts right out of the canvas since he barely has any ties.

The fact that Peter isn’t gone already seemingly means that GH doesn’t want to fire the actor – though even Rogers pointed out that Ramsey has never really been the right fit for such a villainous role.

“I think he was wrong for the character,” Rogers confessed. He noted that Anders Hove (Cesar Faison) had a “natural menace” about him that worked for the part of Faison. Rogers argued that the role of Faison’s son needs the same thing, but Ramsey is “too much of a gentleman.”

Nevertheless, Rogers added “it is what it is,” so the show’s dealing with the situation accordingly. Since there’s all this talk about the writers trying to get out of the corner they’ve painted Peter into, does that mean Peter might actually get off the hook and find redemption?

The truth is Rogers and his fellow cast members aren’t sure. “We think that we’re edging toward the end, but we don’t really know,” Rogers said in the clip.

Naturally, since this is a very recent video, that lets us know Peter’s stint is not yet over and that his future remains a bit up in the air. If Peter had filmed an exit, Rogers wouldn’t be saying they don’t know for certain where this is headed.

Bottom line, this wedding and its aftermath won’t be the end of the road for Peter, but we’ll see how things play out after that. All that’s known right now is that Rogers thinks they’re moving toward an ending for Peter, but he can’t say that with certainty.
