In tonight’s Keeping Up With The Kardashian episode, the cast of the hit show otherwise known as the Kardashian family have gathered together for an exclusive tell-all. For the first time, they’re speaking with Andy Cohen and they’re clearing the air. They filmed twenty seasons of their hit show. They’ve said goodbye to it forever and so this tell-all gives them one last chance to say whatever they have to say.
It also gives Andy the chance to ask whatever he wants to ask. He was given no ground rules and he didn’t have to clear questions past Kris. Whatever he has to say or ask tonight will come as a complete surprise. Andy’s first question was therefore why did the show have to end. It turns out their contract was coming up and they wanted to come back on different platforms and so they figured now would be the perfect time to say goodbye.
They’re still the Kardashians. They all have social media and so this isn’t the last of them. Andy next asked if the show would have had such success without the sex tape. Kim admitted that they wouldn’t have the recognition without the sex tape but she does regret making the video because she knows it’s going to be around when her kids are older and that she would have to explain it to them. It also led to the quote that they were famous for being famous.
People didn’t see the work they put into the tv show and franchise. They just thought they got famous for simply being famous and that came with haters. Kourtney said a lot of their close friends became haters overnight. Kris’s friends called her low rent and said her show was ridiculous.
Then around Season 3/Season 4, they realized that the show was a mainstay and those same supposed friends now wanted to be invited to Kris’s parties. Kris became known as a hardworking momager. She created the title and it’s now accepted by Word Document. The meme online is that the devil works hard Kris Jenner works harder. Kris is an incredible manager. The easiest child she manages is Kendall because Kendall is easygoing and always has been.
The hardest child to manage is Kourtney. Kourtney often says no to a lot of things. Then when she does say yes, she wants to know every little thing about the business deal and so Kourtney makes Kris work for it. Kris was asked if her managerial style was based on how much her children brought in and she said no.
Her kids just joke about that with her. Kris does focus on the child that needs to sign a lucrative deal and, as she’s done with Kim, she’s done with Kylie. Kylie is the youngest self-made billionaire. She got the idea to do makeup after being insecure most of her life about her own lips and she remembers she kissed a guy and he had been so shocked she was good at it because he said she had such small lips. The family joked she should name a lip kit after the guy.
Only that guy inspired Kylie. She’s a billionaire. She’s one of two of them in the family and so Andy asked about her today. How was her relationship with Tyga today? She said it was fine. They weren’t friends but they weren’t enemies either and so they’ll acknowledge each other if they run into each other. And then she was asked about her boyfriend Travis.
Travis wasn’t really shown on the show. He doesn’t like to be filmed and so he just didn’t do it. He and Kylie also didn’t share their pregnancy with the world. She mostly hid at the house and that hadn’t been enough to cure anyone’s curiosity. They stalked outside of her house.
They also constantly flew over her home and at one point Kylie stopped leaving the house altogether while she was pregnant. Kylie’s pregnancy wasn’t the easiest on the show. The others had to deal with the heavy paparazzi and constant intrusion and so paparazzi played a part in their daily decisions. They don’t post photos because they suspect they’ll be torn apart in the media. It was also the show that made Kim marry Kris Humphries. Remember him.
Kim was married to him for 72 days. She had cold feet before she married him and her mother saw and tried to warn her. Kris the momager said she could put her in a cab where no one will find her and she didn’t have to get married but Kim turned down the offer. Kim had used her paycheck as well as her mother’s paycheck and the production value to put together a huge wedding. She didn’t want to be known as the runaway bride if she left.
She also didn’t want to waste all that money. She stayed and she got married and she knew on her honeymoon that she had made a mistake. Not many people remember this, but her former husband once told her that no one will remember her name in a year and he said this while they working it out and yet now he’s the guy that no one remembers unless it’s to make fun of Kim. And eventually, that position was overtaken by Kanye.
Kim felt bad about how she treated her ex. She tried to reach out to apologize for the way she ended things and she ran into him when she was pregnant with her second child but he wouldn’t acknowledge her. He tried to get their marriage annulled. He was strong in his faith and he didn’t want marriage on his record but Kim refused to call their short marriage fraud and so it stayed on the books. Kim now wishes she could have been married just once.
She married Kanye and that marriage fell apart. They were friends and so they will always be friends because they share four kids together. Then there was Khloe. Khloe’s drama kept the storyline hot during the past few seasons and so Andy asked about that. Was she ever upset when her sisters didn’t share?
Khloe does admit it was frustrating when Kourtney refused to even mention her boyfriends. She kept every relationship after Scott very secretive and it was to the point that everyone knew about the relationship but she still refuses to discuss it and no one else could talk about it either. Both Khloe and Kim thought that was an unfair advantage. Even Kris’s relationship has more been shown on the show. Kris went from a 24-year marriage to another serious relationship with Corey. And it was all on camera.
And Kris had moved past her anger with Caitlyn.
