In tonight’s MBFFL, Whitney arrives at the gym to shadow Will. She knows this is a serious test and he will let her know if she is doing wrong. They meet with their client. Whitney nails it with her knowledge. After Will tells her great job but she still needs to pass her test. She needs to focus but cannot stop thinking about her French guy problems.
Whitney texts Tal. He comes to visit with a dog friend. They chat about her French man. She tells him she feels like her man isn’t looking to meet with the pandemic on the downswing. She then shares her ordeal on the retreat and how she met a woman Javi tried to cheat on her with. She doesn’t trust herself now at all. She shares that with her birthday coming up the French man sent gifts. They open them. She is confused. Best friend perfume?
Whitney heads to her parents. She wants to help them move their bedroom and to do that they need to go through some things. She learns when she arrives the family’s longtime pet turtle has died. They get to talking when children become a topic. Whitney shares that she is going to do hormone injections and has already been told Heather will be her surrogate. Her dad wants her to find a partner and not go it alone. Babs doesn’t say too much.
Whitney talks to her French man. He tells her he is nervous to be involved with her because of what happened to Chase. He doesn’t really want to be on a TV show. She understood and didn’t even think of this as a problem. He needs time. She is not going to wait around so hopefully, he figures it out.
Whitney arrives to pick up Todd. They are going tubing for their birthday. She doesn’t want to go because she feels sad. They are meeting Buddy and Tap. Heather had surgery and Ashley is sick. Whitney shares Chase texted her. He wants to go have a drink. Todd wonders if this is a good idea. Whitney moves on to talking about her app and the possibility of launching one. The only problem is that Ashley may be out of a job because a team would do all of the work. Todd thinks this stinks for their friendship. He has also experienced the same thing with Whitney when it came to business.
Todd and Whitney arrive to go tubing, meeting Tal and Buddy. The weather gets worse, turning from hard rain to thunder and lightning. Whitney is feeling sick on their ride to the lake. Her treatments are making her nauseous. Buddy is not into this. Whitney thinks this is all a sucky birthday. They leave. Whitney just wants to eat cake and cry. Todd brings up how Chase messaged Whitney. Buddy thinks that it is a bad idea to meet with him.
