Tonight’s episode of Outdaughtered, the episode begins with Danielle and Adam are talking about Riley, she doesn’t seem to be having nightmares anymore but they all wake up each other at horrible hours. Riley says she likes to have her own bedroom, but sometimes she likes to go into her sister’s bedroom to play. Danielle asks Adam if he will take Hazel to school, she wants to talk to her teacher before her eye doctor appointment later in the week.

Danielle and Adam tell Hazel that she has her appointment. The mornings are always crazy, the quints have been testing their boundaries lately, and just because they are ok today, they are five, it doesn’t mean they are ok tomorrow. Danielle says they are behaving worse than usual and it has been getting on her nerves. Danielle tries to get them in the van and all heck breaks loose, Danielle says they make the morning so un-enjoyable, and she hates being a mean mom.

Danielle speaks to Hazel’s teachers, they notice that she likes to get really close, as close as she can, it’s a marker board. They haven’t noticed the head tilting like they used to.

The family goes out to dinner in the hopes of having an easier evening, and it turns out not to be. One of the quints drops juice all over the table, Adam says they are going to use sippy cups until they are fourteen.

They are back home, Adam goes outside to see Danielle, she is out there to get some quiet, he brings her a drink. She says she feels maxed out, the kids are just different, it is more difficult. Danielle says they turned up the chaos, she doesn’t want the kids to see her as a disciplinary, she just wants them to see her as a mom. She thinks they need to refresh who they are as a family, find something to do. The girls have so much pent-up energy lately, maybe an overnight trip when they take Hazel to the eye doctor.

The family is packing up for their overnight to Austin and San Antonio, first to see Dr. Megan. Danielle is getting Hazel’s hair done and the quints are outside ringing the doorbell. They reserved a hotel with uncle Dave and his family, right on the river and they hope it is going to be fun. Just trying to get them in the van, Danielle threatens to take them all to school and not on the trip, because they are acting up. Hazel’s appointment has to be their number one priority and now they are running late.

Everyone is finally buckled in and they are on their way. Adam talks to Hazel and asks her if she is going to tell Dr. Megan what she sees and she says no. They don’t why Hazel clams up with her eye doctor and are worried that she is holding something back. They arrive at Dr. Megan’s office, Danielle goes in with Hazel, Adam stays back with the other kids.

Hazel is examined, and Danielle is told that Hazel’s face turn was small, she is stable but her right eye is stronger than her left eye and the left eye is starting to cross again. First, they are going to start with eye patches. The goal is two hours a day. Nothing really bothers Hazel, but this might be it. Hazel says she doesn’t like wearing eye patches. She is giving a mermaid eye patch and it makes it easier, Hazel says it is pretty and she doesn’t mind wearing it.

The family is now on their way to San Antonio. They arrive at the hotel and Adam says, let the fun become. They get two rooms that join together so there are enough beds. Right away, the girls are picking up the phone and calling random people. Uncle Dave says they are getting up at 9 am, they are going zip-lining and Danielle hopes she doesn’t get vertigo again as she did in Hawaii. Danielle announces it is bath time and Riley rolls her eyes, she tells her not to do that, Danielle finds eye-rolling is the worst thing. Riley does it again and gets in more trouble. Danielle is so tired of disciplining over and over again, she thought this was going to be a fun trip.

The desk morning, everyone is ready to go – they have a big day planned, then it is a four-hour ride back home. The evening before Danielle had a horrible migraine, but she is feeling better this morning and she is happy that she didn’t plan the itinerary.

The first stop is going to see The Alamo. One thing Danielle misses from homeschooling the girls is that they would always learn new things. Next, they are at the caverns and going underground to look at crystals. The girls have a lot of questions, Riley asks if they are getting dipping dots after this. The kids have been so good, so after a quick snack, they take a try at mining for crystals and gemstones. The girls start to act up, Danielle is feeling tense and anxious. It is time for zip lining. The Mills agreed to watch the kids while Danielle and Adam go ziplining first. Danielle does good, the vertigo doesn’t come back. The girls have lots of fun, its time to drive home. Once home, Danielle speaks to Hazel about wearing the eye patches., they are going to do it after school.

THE END!
