Tonight on CW their drama Riverdale airs with an all-new Wednesday, February 24, 2021, season 5 episode 6 called, “Chapter Eighty-Two: Back to School,” and we have your Riverdale recap below. On tonight’s Riverdale season 5 episode 4 as per the CW synopsis, “Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead prepare for their first day as Riverdale High’s newest teachers.

Veronica introduces her husband, Chad, to the group; Archie and Toni turn to Cheryl for help restarting the football and cheer teams.

In tonight’s Riverdale episode Jug rushes to finish a book he assigned his students over the summer. Archie cannot believe they are headed back to school as teachers. The next morning, Ronnie, Kevin, and Toni arrives, as well as Betty. They rush to find their classrooms. All of them have a rough Strat with defiant and uninterested students. Meanwhile, Hiram is worried about Riverdale High opening. He is thinking of what he can do with Reggie to ruin this.

After, Ronnie looks around for a shop where she can open a jewelry store. Smithers asks her about what Chad might think. Back at school, Archie and Betty flirt in the break room. They talk about a safe place they can hook up later tonight.

That night, Jug works at Pops. It’s dead. He interviews Pop’s granddaughter. She left a very successful job to run the shop, he notes. They continue to talk until students come in. The students notice Jug is their teacher.

At the school after hours, Archie and Betty get busy in the back of a shop car. They are interrupted by the fire alarm. They discover something on fire in the hall. Students run from the scene.

The next day, Archie has to explain to the principal, the sheriff, Toni, and the others why he was near the school the night before. They think it is the students from Stonewall, specifically the football players. Archie pays them a visit, punching Reggie, their coach in the mouth. He tells the team he cannot wait to kick their ass on the field.

Jug has a hard time getting his students interested in Mice and Men. They leave little trinkets on his desk, teasing him about working at Pop’s. Archie asks the principal to restart the football team. He agrees it is okay. Down the hall, Ronnie is surprised by Chad’s arrival. She brings him to the teacher’s lounge. Things get awkward for Archie when he arrives. They all agree to have drinks later to celebrate the week.

Toni tells Betty she heard Polly is missing. She mentions a truck stop where she has seen some of the ladies who hang with the Ghoulies. They service the truckers. That night, Betty and Kevin message an app the Ghoulies use. After, the gang all meet up at Toni’s club for drinks. Ronnie takes the stage and appears to be singing to Archie and is surprised when Chad joins her to sing Shallow.

The next morning in bed, Chad and Ronnie look happy. She likes having him here. He offers to stay a few days. Archie recruits players for the Bulldogs. He finds his players and then goes to Toni for money. She tells him they have none. He heads to see Cheryl. She snaps at him after he mentions how her brother was a Bulldog. She tells him to leave.

That night, Jugheads out into the woods to talk to a local about the “Moth Man.” A legend in Riverdale involving missing men and a ship. Jug is very interested. Across town, Betty and Kevin stake out the truck stop Toni told her about. She hopes to meet a trucker who reached out to her sister the same night she disappeared. She sees the trucker when he pulls in. Betty shows her FBI badge and takes him in. He tells her he didn’t hurt Polly. She jumped out of his truck and ran.

At school, Archie is forced to tell his team they don’t have money. They hear a ruckus. Toni is strutting her cheer squad down the hall. She tells Archie she secured the funding last year. Meanwhile, Cheryl plans to auction off an oil painting she made of Jason. She is told she will get a lot of money for it. She tells Nana she might have to help Riverdale.

Alice and Betty find Polly’s belongings on the side of the road. Archie tells Jug he needs to ask Ronnie for the money for the Bulldogs, she is the team’s last hope. Ronnie shows Chad her possible shop. He loves it and agrees they can go between the city and Riverdale.

Archie stops by to see Ronnie and is surprised to see Chad. He asks her about money for the Bulldogs. Ronnie tells him in seconds she will give him the money. Chad gets upset and mentions how as a vet, Archie must not want a handout. He asks Archie to renovate their place. Archie agrees. After he leaves, Ronnie snaps at Chad for being a jerk.

Jug tells Tabitha that night about his talk with the local. He tells her how all of the men are dead following the moth man episode. She wants in to help research this weird situation. Betty visits Archie at home. They end up upstairs in bed. After sometime Betty gets a call and has to leave. Archie looks sad.

In the morning, Ronnie tells Chad they need to take a break. He agrees begrudgingly to give her space. Toni arrives to see Cheryl in her office. Cheryl is annoyed Toni thinks she can run the Vixens. Miss Bell continues to update Hiram about the goings-on at the school. Ronnie and Archie tell his team they have the money they need to play.

Kevin, Alice, and Betty all look around a local swamp after catching a lead. They see a hand in some mud, rushing to dig the person out. Across town, Jug screams to Archie. The house porch is on fire and the back. Someone is trying to kill them!
