In tonight’s Riverdale episode, as she tries to catch a killer, Betty is taken in by the FBI for solicitation. She explains that she is FBI but her old boss appears. He takes her bags and gun.
In the morning, Archie talks to his Uncle Frank about the nightmare Eric had last night. Meanwhile, Ronnie tells Reggie she needs money fast so she is getting back into investing.
Cheryl visits Kevin at school. She wants to talk about why he was cursing in the woods again. He admits he was. She wants to help by inviting him to one of her sermons.
Betty meets Tabitha at Pops. They have decided to run their own investigation. Meanwhile, Frank has brought a therapy dog home to Eric and Archie. They seem to like the idea.
While Cheryl runs her sermon with Kevin in attendance, Tabitha and Betty plot a way to run their own thirst trap where they plan to dance. Archie continues to try to help Eric get the reference he needs. Reggie wants in on trading with Ronnie. She gives him a chance.
Hoping to reconcile with Fangs, Kevin goes to his apartment where he finds Moose. It seems they are together now. Kevin leaves upset.
Eric wakes Archie after a nightmare. He thinks the dog is missing. They find the dog hiding in the house. They are relieved.
Reggie and Ronnie manage to land some new clients. Reggie can get them more clients from her father. She thinks this is a great idea.
Frank tells Archie their new dog may have been forced to fight in a dogfighting ring in Riverdale. Archie is on a new mission. Meanwhile, Reggie and Ronnie land all of Hiram’s SoDal clients.
Betty and Tabitha set up their thirst trap at Toni’s bar. They ask everyone to pitch in checking IDs and looking for suspicious leads. Across town, Archie, Eric, and Fangs plan a mission to stop the dogfighting ring they have found a lead on.
At Toni’s, Betty runs her sting while the girls dance Coyote Ugly style on the bar. Archie and the gang arrive at the property where they locate the dogs and the man responsible. Fangs and Eric have to pull Archie off of him. After their sting at Toni’s, Betty is approached by herself by a trucker after the night ends. He has blood on his truck. Betty leaves alone with him, taking a chance he could be the Lonely Highway Killer. The trucker makes a stop after saying some disturbing things. Betty is ready. She knocks him unconscious but he comes to after she calls Tabitha. He goes at her with a chainsaw. She throws a knife at him, getting him in the head. Tabitha arrives.
Betty wants to take the killer somewhere to question him. She wants to know if he has any information on Polly. Meanwhile, Frank tries to tell Archie he cannot save everyone. Frank takes them to a shelter to see dogs. Kevin learns he has been named Teacher of The Year.
At Cheryl’s latest sermon, she names Kevin the new artistic director. They perform a song together. Kevin heads to see Fangs after. He admits he and Moose are together. Kevin is fine with that. If they make one another happy.
Reggie and Ronnie land a large client. Reggie punches the air. Archie recalls losing a friend in battle. Eric tells him he is dead. This time it is Archie having a nightmare. The phone rings. While on the phone, Archie sees his dead friend. Kt seems he needs help too.
