The episode begins with Tre saying that he is relieved to see Thomas having gone home, and he thinks the rest of the guys are there for the right reasons, for Katie. Meanwhile, Katie told Blake that she wanted him to move into the house and he is really excited but has no idea what to expect because he knows the other guys are not going to be happy about it.

Katie asks Kaitlyn for advice because she asked Nick to come on to her season later in the season. Kaitlyn says it was rough, her guys were really hurt and mad. The guys are looking forward to getting the date cards, but first, Tayshia walks in and they are wondering what is up. Tayshia tells them that she knows their intentions are real, but this is Katie’s journey and that is about to change. She explains that a man reached out to her, he has good intentions, he asked if he could have the chance to join them in the house. Katie has made a decision, she would like to explore the potential of that relationship, just like with them and that man will be there soon. The men think there is a connection there because Katie wouldn’t be doing this if she didn’t have one. Blake walks into the room, the guys are anything but pleased. Greg says it is hard to see someone new come in and he can’t help but wonder about their connection. Blake tells them that he knows how they feel, he doesn’t like the tension and he is only there because of Katie. Blake says he was a part of Claire and Tayshia, but he feels he hasn’t met anyone quite like Katie. A date card arrives, it is for Blake, “let’s make up for lost time… Katie.” Blake says it is the best-case scenario for him, but probably not for the other guys. If some of the guys are mad, Blake says he just doesn’t care, he came there for a connection with Katie. Blake hopes he walks away from this date with a vibe and connection with Katie. Meanwhile, Katie drops by to see the men, she asks how they are and nobody responds. She asks them how they feel about Blake being there. Katie says she doesn’t know Blake very well, she never pursued anything. But when they spoke and met there was good chemistry and she is just trying to follow her heart. Katie and Blake leave for their date. Katie is not trying to waste any time, she wants to go on this date to see if there is something there, if there is nothing, she will not hesitate to send him home. The two are going horseback riding and Blake tells Katie that as a kid, he was always afraid of horses.

Blake tells Katie that the first time he was so nervous. They talk about their travels, he says he does work in Africa and loves wildlife. Blake feels like he knows her already and he doesn’t, it just feels right. Blake tells her that he appreciates her letting this happen. She says the more they get to know each other the more boxes she is checking. They kiss and she tells him that he is a good kisser too, check! Meanwhile, Greg knows that Katie will be attracted to Blake’s energy, he hopes Blake messes it up.

The men are all sitting around when there is a knock on the door, it is another date card and this one is for Greg, Quartney, Aaron, Mike P., Michael A., Andrew M., Josh, Justin, Brandan, James, Connor B., Tre, and Hunter, “love is a battlefield.” Andrew S. is thrilled that his name was not on the card, which means he gets the other one-on-one date and it’s a long time coming, he is so happy.

At dinner, Katie says they are the same, it makes it fun and easy. He asks her what has made her so open and sex-positive and vocal about it. She gets emotional and says ten years ago she was at a New years eve party and had been drinking. Someone who she considered a friend did not have consent from her, and he can assume the rest. She was in denial about what happened and aggressively pursued him but it wasn’t real. She says it was an unhealthy cycle. She recovered and she has owned who she is and is now comfortable talking about sex. He tells her that he is sorry to hear that, nobody deserves to go through that, he has a new appreciation for her. Katie knows she took a gamble with Blake and after tonight, she knows she made the right decision, she gives him the one-on-one date rose and after pinning it, she tells him that it looks good on him. Katie has a surprise for Blake, it is Laine Hardy singing to them, the dance, they look like they are in their own little world.

Katie has a group date with thirteen guys and there has been so much drama these past few weeks that she is ready to move past it, today feels like a reset. Katie feels hyped and ready. Bachelor Nation Legends, Wells, and Franco are joining the day. The game is called Bachelorette Bash Ball Battle. Rugby meets basketball. The winning team is going to hang out with Katie afterward, the losing team heads back to their hotel. The only shot at a rose is winning this game. Whatever team loses is going to be very upset for sure. The teams are ready and the guys are wearing very little, Katie tells them they look great. Aaron says all the hours in the gym pay off. Michael says it is the worst date of his life, everybody is shredded and he is there with his dad body. James is ready to fight to the death to have time with Katie. Hunter just nails Michael P. and knocks him to the ground. Just says Hunter is like the Tasmanian Devil and he set the tone. Katie looks a little concerned when the men get more intense, she admits she is nervous for the men. Michael A. is about to score when he gets tackled from the back. Michael A, is on the ground and he is not moving, he says he can’t move. Katie calls it a game, she doesn’t want anyone to get hurt. She tells them that was intense, the black team was the winner because of the points, but they are all winners, so she invites them all to the after-party.

At the After Party, Katie thanks the men for putting their hearts and soul into the game. Michael is the first one to have some one-on-one time with Katie. Greg is having a hard time, he feels exhausted worrying about the other guys. Katie tells Michael that she was really emotional seeing him get knocked down. He tells her that she brings comfort in his life and there is something special there. He asks her for a kiss, she says yes. She feels so good and hopeful.

Hunter tells the other men that he had fun in the game, the other men don’t respond and they are not really liking him very much and he played so aggressively. Hunter says he doesn’t want to sound cocky, but there is nobody like him. Hunter sits down with Katie, he says he never introduces his kids to dates, but he brought photos and wants to show them to her.

The last date card arrives for Andrew S., “let’s find out a way to love… Katie.” Seeing his name on the date card feels good for Andrew.

Michael A., tells the guys his story about him being widowed, and Greg is reduced to tears and gives him a hug. He tells the rest of the men not to waste time, live every day like it is your last. Greg takes his words to heart and goes to look for Katie. She tells him that one of her biggest fears is him wanting to leave, he says no, she is worth it and he is staying put. Time for Katie to give out the group date rose, she gives it to Hunter and all the men are shocked. Hunter is on cloud nine, so far everything is falling into place for him. Greg is surprised, he doesn’t understand why it wasn’t him and he doesn’t know what she sees in him.

Andrew S.. is super happy about his date, he woke up at 7:30 am and he can’t wait to get started. It’s late, and she plans on digging a little deeper into their relationship. They grab lanterns and go for a walk in the woods. She tells him that she hopes he is feeling brave. She bends down and grabs an electrical outlet and plugs it in, lots of twinkling lights appear. There is a note, and it welcomes them to their journey. There are envelopes opined up high and he has to lift her up for her to reach them. The first says to show your dance moves, then imitate an animal in the wild, and on and on. They go on to breaking hearts that have more tasks and questions inside. Katie is having a really good time with Andrew S., it feels like they have been dating for a long time. She loves the energy they share, they can get deep and serious, and when they are laughing. When they kiss there is physical chemistry. After the games, they have dinner today and both agree that the date was so easy. He says his favorite part was the moments that felt super real. He tells her at six years his dad got locked up and football was a release for him. He would always see fathers come down and congratulate their sons and he wouldn’t have anyone. He tells her that people look differently at racial couples, and in his previous relationship, it bothered his girlfriend. Katie says it doesn’t bother her in the least, she just wants love regardless of how their children are going to look. They end the date in the hot tub and she gives him the one-on-one rose.

Aaron is hoping he gets some time with Katie, as more men go home things are getting tense. Katie arrives and tells the men that it has been a really good week, she is forming connections and she sees her husband in this room. Justin is the first man to take Katie aside to have some time with her. Hunter takes Katie away, he brought a telescope and invites her to look into the stars. A lot of the men are upset, Hunter already has a rose and is stealing time from the other guys. James gets up, he has had enough, he is going to go and interrupt them. He asks if he can steal Katie and Hunter says no, he just got there. James waits a few minutes and then goes back in again and gets that time that he wanted with her. Hunter is not impressed and says he will get that time back. The guys tell Hunter off but he has no caring towards how they feel.

Time for the Rose Ceremony, Katie thanks the men for an amazing week. The roses go to Greg, Aaron, Michael A., Connor, James, Justin, Mike P., Brandon, and Tre.
