In tonight’s The Bachelorette episode, the episode begins with the guys surprised that the group got cut so much at the last Rose Ceremony. Brendan and Mike are the only two that haven’t had one on one dates and both are hoping they will be chosen next.

Meanwhile, Katie feels that the final seven feels good and she looks forward to going into the new week, it’s like a fresh start. There are some guys she feels confident in and she wants to meet their families, but she doesn’t know who the final four are yet. She wants to narrow in on who her person is and this week she has to ask the tough questions.

A date card arrives, it is for Greg, “let’s see if this can really work…love Katie.” Greg wasn’t expecting that, he is ecstatic and can only think about spending more time with her. Blake says he is jealous, he is trying to figure out how he can get that this week.

Blake can’t see anyone having the same connection that she has with him. Michael is jealous of what Greg has got, he needs that reassurance, he has a son and can’t go into hometowns with all the questions in the air. For Katie, it is important that she and Greg have this time together because it has been a long time since they’ve had one on one time.

Greg and Katie play games, laugh, and just enjoy the day together doing things that remind Katie of her hometown. The two sit down and talk, he says she makes him feel like he is in high school. They talk about the fact that he had the first one on one and it has been a long time since they have spent time together, he says it has been a rollercoaster. He tells that he is ready to introduce her to his mom.

Greg and Katie sit down for dinner, she says they just did little things, didn’t need anything extravagant, and had a blast. Katie gives Greg the rose, he tells her that he is so excited for her to meet his family, they are going to love her. Greg is so grateful that he made the jump to be on the show, he thinks he found the love of his life, she has made him love more than he thought he could.

Going into hometowns everyone needs that one on one and all the men are vying for it. There is a knock at the door, it is another date card. Justin, Andrew, Blake, Michael A., Brendan, “there is an art to love.” Brendan is devastated, Mike is thrilled. Brendan wants to know why he is still there, he never got a one-on-one, it doesn’t make sense. Brendan gets up and walks out of the room. Brendan goes to Katie’s room and knocks on her door, she is speechless to find him at her door.

The two sit down, he tells her that he was having a bad couple of days and especially now that he didn’t get a one-on-one. His feelings are coming out, he is the only guy without a one-on-one. He is worried that he wouldn’t be able to express himself at the group date. She tells him that his being there now and checking on her means a lot to her, but because of home towns being next week, she doesn’t think that they could get there right now and she doesn’t think it is right to make him wait. Next, we see Brendan with his bags, he is leaving.

The next day, Blake tells the men that Brendan went to speak to Katie and he was sent home, he doesn’t know the exact reason why. Time for the group dates, Katie’s four guys meet with her and she wants them to have fun and loosen up a bit. The men step into the yard and there are many paintings displayed, the artist is there and she tells them that today they are going to make a work of art. Blake is not an art guy at all and has no interest in it. Blake painted a black canvas, a physical representation of what humans can do on a daily basis – nobody understands what he is saying.

Time for the Rose Ceremony. Katie has to think hard about who she wants to give the final two roses to because it means that those men are going on hometown dates. Meanwhile, Blake is worried because he said he wasn’t in love with her yet. Blake is given the first rose. One rose left, Andrew and Justin are waiting to hear their fate. Justin gets the last rose. Andrew is done, he will be going home.

Katie sits down with Andrew and tells him that she is building stronger connections and he deserves more than she can give him. She tells him that it is hard to say goodbye because he is truly one of a kind. She says she is happy they met, they hug and they both cry. He tells her it is ok. Andrew says it is heartbreaking, he never felt this way with another woman before but he understands if she has stronger connections with other men.

The next day, Justin says he is still having a hard time processing what happened the night before. Michael is super excited about hometowns but he is worried about Katie because she looked devastated after sending Andrew home. Katie admits it was hard and Andrew will always be someone she thinks about. There is a knock at the door, it is Andrew. He says he had time to think about everything, he didn’t like leaving on a not smiling, happy note. She tells him that saying goodbye was really hard. She says it is the first time she made a decision that she didn’t feel good about, she cares about him.

He says he fell for her and that gives him comfort. He is super proud of her and loves the woman that she is. She says she is glad they met, he says him too. He gives her a letter and tells her that when he is gone, reads it. He leaves, she goes inside and looks at the letter, it says, “if you change your mind, I’ll be waiting.” Katie leaves the room, she runs to catch up with Andrew, she takes the stairs and runs as fast as she can, she sees him near the door and runs into his arms. She tells him she is sorry, she had to see him.

She asks him if there is a way to stay a little longer, would he? He says it is tough, it did happen, he feels hurt in this place. He wanted to say yes, he wants nothing more than to be with her. She ran down the stairs and he said no. He wants his future wife to choose him, he doesn’t want to go through this again. He tells her no crying. They say goodbye, Andrew leaves and Katie knows that with every goodbye she feels closer to finding her husband.

THE END!
