The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wants a paternity test and she wants it NOW. As B&B viewers are aware, Steffy wasted little time in getting to the hospital and getting her pregnancy confirmed by her OB-GYN, Dr. Campbell (Tina Huang).
Viewers will remember that Dr. Campbell was Steffy’s doctor during her pregnancy with Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray), too.
Well, given that there’s so much urgency and angst over Steffy’s current pregnancy, it looks like Steffy’s going to spill the whole story to Dr. Campbell, including that either Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) or John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) could be the father of her baby.
We’ll see exactly how much detail Steffy spills to Dr. Campbell, but Steffy tends to ramble, so Dr. Campbell might hear a lot.
And this has us wondering…does Dr. Campbell know Finn? Dr. Campbell and Finn appear to work at the same hospital, where all the B&B characters tend to go.
If Steffy gets into the details of her complicated paternity situation with Dr. Campbell, it might not be long before Dr. Campbell is privy to the fact that Steffy desperately wants her baby to be Finn’s child.
And if that’s the case, then we could have a situation in which Dr. Campbell does a little maneuvering in the background and sees to it that Finn is named the baby’s father.
In other words, the baby might turn out to be Liam’s, but since Dr. Campbell knows how strongly Steffy wants Finn to be the father, Dr. Campbell could make that magic happen by switching the paternity tests!
There’s another factor here, too, and that’s that Dr. Campbell and Finn may know each other pretty well. After all, they both apparently have privileges at the same hospital, and they could be friends.
Dr. Campbell might have an extra motivation to “make” the baby Finn’s in order to help out her fellow colleague out.
Of course, if Dr. Campbell were to pull a switcheroo like this, it would be a pretty big deal, but we also have to remember that this is the same hospital where Dr.
Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) helped out Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) by duping Katie Logan (Heather Tom) into believing that Sally had a terminal illness! It’s B&B – anything could happen here!
We’ll see what happens, but if there is a switch that gets done on Steffy’s paternity test at the hospital, then we’d say that Dr. Campbell might be a prime suspect!
