The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) may face a near-death experience, so let’s talk about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) clue and how it might point to a horrific tragedy for the soon-to-be newlyweds.
Steffy delivered fantastic news to Finn in the July 28 episode, but how she worded it seemed almost ominous.
It’s common for “until death do us part” to be included in wedding vows, but it felt strange and significant when Steffy used it to share ASAP wedding updates.
The line was uttered repeatedly, so it felt like the show really wanted to highlight death as something that could part the lovers.
Why did they have Steffy focus on how she’s going to love Finn until death separates them?
Could it be because B&B has an accident or illness in the works for Finn?
Finn seems perfectly healthy, so something like a car crash would probably be the most likely option.
We should note that the show has also emphasized how Steffy and Finn met lately.
They keep having characters bring up the story of Steffy opening her eyes and seeing the handsome doctor who’d eventually become her husband.
Steffy had a motorcycle accident before she woke up to Finn in the hospital. Perhaps Finn will face an accident of his own and wake up to Steffy in front of him.
The goal here may be to put Steffy on the other side of the situation in a way. Steffy obviously isn’t a doctor, but she could still be there when Finn opens his eyes and beats the odds.
Back when Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was on B&B, she once told Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) they’d be OK – even if it killed her.
It wasn’t long until the show kicked off what appeared to be a fatal arc for Sally.
The writers changed their minds and turned it into a scam, but the point is they’ve used dialogue to set up deadly story twists in the past.
That could be what’s happening now that Steffy’s promised to love Finn until death do them part.
Of course, there’s almost zero chance of Finn actually getting killed off.
This would just be a close call to create some drama and leave Steffy worried she might lose the man of her dreams!
