The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, August 6, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) reeled over Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) guesthouse surprise, which involved greeting her “sweetheart” son and revealing she was his mother.
At the Forrester mansion on Friday’s B&B episode, Jerry (Petri Hawkins Byrd) the minister urged anyone with a reason why Finn and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) shouldn’t be joined in holy matrimony to speak now or forever hold their peace.
Jack Finnegan (Ted King) looked nervously toward the door as Jerry acknowledged he didn’t expect any objections.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) made a speech about how love created harmony – both within a marriage and within a family. She was grateful to be standing up for Steffy after coming together over their children.
Hope felt the family was expanding now with Finn, Jack and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda).
Hope joked about how they’d find out those deep, dark secrets Finn was hiding. “Let’s be honest: He’s a little too good to be true, am I right?” Hope said with a laugh.
Hope clarified that she was joking and assured Steffy that she’d found an amazing man. Hope felt that Finn had found an amazing woman, too.
Next, Finn and Steffy made some heartfelt personal vows to each other.
Steffy was eager to find out every little thing about Finn. She insisted they were on this “crazy amazing ride” together and eventually exchanged rings with Finn as they made their more formal vows.
Once Jerry finished the ceremony, he insisted that Steffy could now kiss her husband.
Finn dipped Steffy as they locked lips passionately and looked like he was on cloud nine. Once the reception was underway, Steffy and Finn chatted with their guests.
Pam had to leave early, but she reassured Steffy that it was fine that someone else did the wedding cake.
It was nice for Pam to merely be a guest for once – and she loved seeing Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) portrait back up. Pam was grateful to Steffy for suggesting the idea to Eric Forrester (John McCook).
After Steffy walked Pam to the door, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) found his sister and warned he’d never stop being her overprotective big brother. However, Thomas was glad that Steffy had found a guy she could depend on.
Once Steffy reconvened with Finn, they shared another kiss and met up with Hope as well as Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
After talking about what an awesome flower girl Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) was, Liam had a feeling the four of them were going to do a great job raising the kids.
After Eric made a toast, Steffy marveled over everyone getting along and wanted to keep building on this. Finn was thankful to have been welcomed into the family and for the support of their marriage.
Once Finn got a notification on his phone, he told Steffy he needed to check on one of his patients. Finn assured Steffy that he wouldn’t be gone long and headed for the guesthouse.
Steffy spoke with Hope and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) before Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) walked over.
Ridge insisted that so many people were rooting for Steffy and Finn. He assured Steffy that nothing would ruin this day and pulled his daughter into a warm embrace.
At the Forrester guesthouse, Finn wrapped up a call to the hospital. Someone moved in the shadows as Finn smiled down at his wedding ring.
“Congratulations,” a voice called out and caused a surprised Finn to turn around. Finn offered his gratitude and admitted he didn’t know anyone was in there. He asked who the person was and was stunned by her response.
“It’s me, sweetheart. Your mother,” Sheila said as she stepped forward. “I’m your mother.”
