The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Friday, February 26, reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) stood in the Forrester backstage area and talked via phone with Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero).
Vinny urged Thomas to let it go and “take the win.” That worried Thomas, and Vinny went onto say that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) won’t stay with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) since Liam’s the father of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby.
Hope came along, and Thomas hung up with Vinny. Hope wondered what had Thomas so upset, and Thomas skirted the question.
Thomas and Hope talked about the stress that Hope is under right now, and Thomas noted that Hope wouldn’t be under so much turmoil if Liam wasn’t the father of Steffy’s baby. Thomas left to see Vinny, telling Hope that she deserves to be happy.
Meanwhile, over in the CEO office, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) expressed an interest in taking Steffy to her routine OB-GYN checkup. Just then, Liam walked in and offered to take Steffy to her appointment, saying that he cleared his schedule. “So did I,” Finn interjected.
Steffy indicated that she wanted to go to the appointment on her own, telling Liam that he needed to focus on Hope and saving his marriage.
Finn looked put off and said that Liam should be with Hope. After Liam left, Steffy turned down Finn’s offer to take her to her appointment, and Finn and Steffy wished things were different.
Steffy told Finn that she was sure that the baby had been his. “I felt it in my bones,” Steffy said. “There was no doubt in my mind.”
Finn noted that the paternity test said otherwise, and Steffy lamented that she hated what she was putting Finn through. “I love you and want to spend the rest of my life proving that to you,” Steffy said.
In the Forrester design office, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) did a hard sell on Katie Logan (Heather Tom), urging her to truly forgive Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) and welcome her into the Logan family.
Wyatt griped that the Logans hardly acknowledged Flo at all, and he pointed out that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) forgave Thomas and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), but not Flo.
Katie said that she’d always be grateful for Flo’s kidney donation, and that she forgave Flo. “Did you really forgive her?” Wyatt fired back. “You don’t treat her life family,” Wyatt said, noting that Flo was Storm Logan’s (William deVry) daughter.
Wyatt urged Katie to talk to her sisters and to Hope, because Flo didn’t feel connected to them and it hurt her. “Forgive Flo and welcome her into the family,” Wyatt said.
Over at Spencer Publications, Flo talked with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), who could tell that something was on Flo’s mind. Flo shared that she wanted to get closer to the Logans, and Shauna said that the Logans should be more welcoming.
Shauna urged Flo not to give up and to fight to be accepted – and that’s exactly what a Logan would do.
At the cabin, Liam returned home to find Hope there. “I thought you were going to the doctor with Steffy,” Hope said. Liam replied that Steffy said he should focus on Hope.
Liam urged Hope to let him prove that he will always put her and their marriage first, and eventually Hope became frustrated and said that she thought they were in a happy peaceful place when he cheated. Liam told Hope that they can get that all back if they just hold on and never let go.
At Vinny’s apartment. Thomas arrived as Vinny was arranging his drug and vial stash. Thomas said that Vinny had been acting strangely ever since Steffy’s paternity test.
Vinny said he had nothing to do with that, and Thomas asked if that was true. “I have a bad feeling you messed with Steffy’s paternity results.”
Vinny said that was a nice way to talk to a friend, and Thomas pointed to the drugs, saying that they made him suspicious. “You seemed familiar with the process of Steffy’s paternity test,” Thomas said. “Did you run Steffy’s test?”
Vinny said that he may have had a hand in it. “But not like you think,” Vinny insisted.
“You didn’t mess with the results, then?” Thomas asked. Vinny said the results were accurate, and that he should go be with Hope and be happy together. “I don’t know if I can believe you,” Thomas said.
Thomas said that if Liam wasn’t the father, he’d immediately tell Hope and Steffy the truth.
“Their lives are chaos, they deserve the truth,” Thomas said. “Did you mess with the test and make it look like it’s Liam’s baby when it’s really Finn’s?” Thomas asked urgently. Vinny hesitated.
