The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Friday, July 16 Recap – Justin Offers Sword Necklace to Ridge – Quinn’s Portrait Discovery

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, July 16, reveals that Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) offered a sword necklace to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to prove his loyalty while Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) made a shocking portrait discovery.

At Spencer Publications on Friday’s B&B episode, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was adamant that Justin would NOT be forgiven.

Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) talked about what a huge void they had to fill, but Bill didn’t even want to hear Justin’s name.

Katie Logan (Heather Tom) thought it might be healing if Bill could find it in his heart to forgive Justin one day.

Katie couldn’t tell Bill what to do, but she knew Justin was Bill’s best friend and that it was more complicated that just declaring Justin dead to him.

At Forrester Creations, Justin insisted that he could offer years of information and knowledge of Bill’s dealings.

In exchange, Justin wanted assurance that Ridge and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wouldn’t press charges. He asked for their silence about his momentary lapse in judgment.

Justin noted that he was offering the upper hand on “Dollar Bill” and felt the Forresters would be crazy to pass it up. He argued it was only a matter of time before Bill came for Forrester Creations again.

When that happened, Justin vowed to be there for the Forresters and gave his word.

Ridge ranted about how they should prosecute today, but Thomas could understand the whole “momentary lapse in judgement” thing.

Thomas also understood Justin’s hatred of Bill. He just didn’t know if Justin could be trusted – and Ridge piped to say of course Justin couldn’t.

Justin acknowledged that no father should forgive what he did to Thomas, but he offered something to prove his loyalty: Bill’s most-prized possession.

After Justin pulled out a sword necklace, he said it was for Ridge and wondered if they had a deal. Ridge ultimately stepped forward to claim the necklace from Justin.

Later, Eric Forrester (John McCook) was surprised to learn Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) hadn’t made it to the office yet.

Eric figured Carter would be there early trying to prove it was the right call to let him stick around.

Ridge wondered if Eric was rethinking his decision to let Carter stay on board at Forrester Creations. Eric insisted Carter could stay as long as he steered clear of Quinn.

At Carter’s loft, Quinn was stunned to discover her portrait stashed behind a piece of furniture.

Carter admitted that Eric told him to get rid of it, but he couldn’t trash it. He added that he couldn’t let something so beautiful be destroyed.

Quinn warned that Carter could never let Eric or Ridge see that he had the portrait. They wondered how they let things get so out of control. Carter felt guilty since he didn’t lose anything, but Quinn had lost so much.

Carter wanted to take Quinn in his arms and tell her it was all going to be OK, but he knew he shouldn’t even be talking to her about any of this.

Carter insisted Eric was clear about his job being conditional on staying away from Quinn. She felt that was how it had to be, but she hoped Carter would always remember the connection they shared.

uinn predicted that Carter would move on with some lucky woman who was out there waiting for him.

Quinn started to leave, but Carter closed the door and moved in close to plant a steamy kiss.

At the cliff house, Finn talked to Steffy about the birth certificate paperwork they still needed to fill out. Steffy was hoping Finn approved of the name Hayes Forrester Finnegan – and Finn loved it just like he loved Steffy.

Finn couldn’t wait to make Steffy his wife and suggested he could put a wedding band on her finger today.

At Finn’s urging, Steffy shared what her vows would be if they got married today.

Finn shared his own before promising to love, honor and cherish Steffy for the rest of his life.

Finn asked if Steffy could promise the same and wanted to marry right now – with only sleepy Hayes as a witness. “Say yes,” Finn said excitedly.

As other B&B news rolls in, we’ll bring you more updates. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy’s response will throw Finn for a loop soon, so stay tuned.
