The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, July 30, tease that Jack Finnegan’s (Ted King) unexpected visit will allow Finn and his adoptive dad to reunite. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will also realize he’s in serious trouble! As long as Carter’s got one foot in the Forrester world and one foot in his secret bubble with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), there’s a huge risk of getting caught.
First, let’s talk about how things will play out at the cliff house.
Finn still looks uneasy whenever his parents are brought up – and that’s because he hasn’t been completely honest with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
B&B fans will see Finn gather his courage and hint that there’s something he should’ve told Steffy a long time ago.
Of course, that might be the perfect time for Jack to arrive at the door! Soaps love interruptions, so Jack may show up before Finn has a chance to come clean to Steffy.
This visit will be a big surprise to the happily engaged couple, but Steffy will no doubt give Finn’s father a warm welcome.
There might be some awkward moment where Steffy thinks she sees the family resemblance, which won’t actually be there since Finn’s adopted!
Whatever the case, Steffy’s set to learn a secret that ties in with Finn’s history on Monday, which could mean an adoption cliffhanger will happen on Friday, July 30.
This isn’t something for Finn to be ashamed or concerned about, but he may feel guilty for not clarifying the situation to Steffy sooner.
In the meantime, Carter’s heart will remain torn.
Carter doesn’t want to hurt the Forrester family any more than he already has, especially since Eric Forrester (John McCook) has been kind enough to give Carter another chance.
However, Carter will struggle to balance his divorce duties and his promise to stay away from Quinn with his growing feelings for her.
Quinn brings out some burning desires in Carter that he just can’t resist, so it’s not as simple as just shutting down their romance.
Carter will navigate things as best as he can for now, but deep down he may know that he’ll have to make a choice eventually.
In fact, that choice will be made for Carter if someone finds out about his continued passion with Quinn and rats them out!
Quinn and Carter’s secret is a ticking time bomb that’s sure to explode down the road, so we’ll offer updates as other B&B news rolls in.
