The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, May 7, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) pushed Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) to tell him what she meant when she said one night could ruin their marriage.
Eric demanded to know what happened while he was gone – and Quinn had a steamy flashback of lovemaking with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) piped up to claim they were talking about the night they plotted to undermine Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) marriage.
Eric seemed confused as he asked for clarification that this was about Vegas, so Shauna talked about how sorry she was and how much Quinn regretted her own actions.
Quinn quickly agreed that they couldn’t let one night destroy what they had. She wanted to spend the rest of her life proving her commitment to Eric and the life they created.
After Quinn took off, Eric praised Shauna for being a good friend to his wife. He noted that Quinn had been lonely and wondered if Quinn had opened up to Shauna about their marriage woes.
Shauna assured Eric that Quinn adored him and that he was truly the only one who mattered to her.
Shauna also told Eric that Quinn was still the same woman he married and the same woman in that portrait. She defended Quinn as someone who messed up and regretted it.
Eric brought up Quinn’s devious betrayal and wasn’t sure he could get past it. He felt it was only a matter of time before Quinn betrayed him again. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn’s cheating shocker could become a marriage killer, so stay tuned!
At Forrester Creations on Friday’s B&B episode, Brooke thought it was sweet of Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) to voice her support for Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Talk turned to Flo’s future mother-in-law, so Flo wondered if Quinn had done something.
Brooke argued that Quinn was always trouble and had done nothing but drag Eric down from day one. Flo found out Quinn and Eric were having some issues in their marriage, so she was sorry to hear that.
Meanwhile, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) just hoped she hadn’t made a mistake by sending Quinn over to Carter’s loft. Carter was uncomfortable and insisted Zoe didn’t have to keep asking about Quinn.
Zoe argued that she was proud to call Quinn her friend and was hoping Quinn would have a positive impact on Carter.
Although Zoe didn’t want to pressure Carter, but she remained hopeful about their future. Suddenly, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) entered and gave Carter a chance to bolt from the room as fast as possible.
Carter excused himself and overheard Brooke in the main office talking about how she never trusted Quinn, especially not as Eric’s wife.
Carter acknowledged the Vegas debacle, but he felt Quinn was misunderstood sometimes. Brooke countered that Quinn played the victim instead and just told Eric what he wanted to hear whenever she got caught. Brooke added that Quinn had disappointed Eric over and over again.
Carter noted that Zoe asked Quinn to go to bat for her, so that led to some conversations between them. He knew Quinn loved Eric very much and argued that Eric was the man Quinn wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
Brooke was surprised since it seemed like Carter was defending Quinn, so he admitted that he’d gotten to know Quinn better recently. “We’ve all made mistakes. We regret the things we’ve done,” Carter said – and then he flashed back to hooking up with Quinn at his loft.
Back with Zoe on Friday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, she told Paris that Quinn’s second-guessed herself on how she handled things with Carter. Zoe found it endearing that Quinn worried about that and thought it was a sure sign that Quinn had her back.
Quinn made her way to Carter’s loft and revealed that Shauna was now in the loop on their steamy secret. Carter flipped out, but Quinn argued that Shauna was a true friend and would take it to the grave.
In fact, Quinn noted that Shauna was sort of the reason Eric didn’t find out what happened between them and explained the close call from earlier. Quinn promised Carter that no one would ever find out their secret.
Although Carter couldn’t make promises about Zoe, he was rooting for Quinn to work things out with Eric. Quinn reflected on how Eric had looked at her with so much sadness, but Carter felt she had to give it more time.
Carter offered another pep talk about what an amazing woman Quinn was – though what happened between them couldn’t happen again.
The discussion took a lustful turn as Carter suggested he was just making sure they were on the same page. “I mean there were never any real feelings between us, so…” Quinn said on Friday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode.
“Of course not,” Carter replied looking full of desire. They claimed it was a one-night thing and nothing more.
Quinn said she should go and started backing toward the door, but Carter stepped forward. “We shouldn’t,” Carter admitted. “We can’t,” Quinn said.
Carter began kissing Quinn as their passion erupted once again – and back at Forrester Creations, Brooke wondered where Quinn could be.
