The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Friday, September 3 Recap – Sheila Fakes Fainting After Finn Bans Mom Forever

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, September 3, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) fake fainted after John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) banned her from his life forever. Eric Forrester (John McCook) also eavesdropped on Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) important discussion with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), so here’s how Friday’s B&B episode played out.

In Sheila’s room, she composed a text to Finn about how wonderful it was to meet Hayes Forrester Finnegan. However, Sheila began obsessing over Steffy driving her away and thought back to Steffy slapping her.

“Steffy’s the problem. She’s the one coming between me and my son,” Sheila said. She giddily wondered what Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) would think about her being a permanent fixture in the Forrester family as Hayes’ grandmother.

Sheila intended to embrace that Forrester connection and declared that she wasn’t going anywhere.

Sheila felt like Finn and Hayes deserved to be part of her life. “And they would be if it weren’t for Steffy,” Sheila said before rushing out the door.

At the cliff house, Steffy reflected on Finn’s marriage proposal along with their wedding and Hayes’ birth.

Finn eventually showed up and expressed how he knew what he did was wrong. He was sorry for betraying Steffy and assured her that he didn’t want Sheila to come between them.

When Finn pointed out Jack Finnegan (Ted King) was adamant about letting Sheila have one visit, Steffy complained that Finn should’ve trusted her judgment.

Finn took responsibility for betraying Steffy’s trust and felt they had to fight for their marriage when things got rough. It felt wrong being apart, so Finn didn’t want to be away from Steffy any longer.

Finn said Sheila was gone, but he would always be there for her. His love for Steffy was forever and he was apologetic about letting her down.

Steffy knew she’d let Finn down too by refusing to go to the courthouse, but he didn’t care about that and cracked a joke about not caring about the lack of AC in the guest house either.

Steffy chuckled as the tension broke, so Finn admired her smile and kissed her.

Finn really thought Sheila would leave them alone – and even if she didn’t, he vowed to have nothing to do with his birth mother. Finn added that his commitment was to Steffy and their family, which didn’t include Sheila.

Steffy was willing to let Finn out of exile, so he wanted to celebrate. Unfortunately, Steffy had to go to the office, but she promised to make it up to him later and gave him a kiss before she left.

Sheila came in through the side door immediately after, so Finn demanded to know what she was doing there.

Although Sheila couldn’t stop thinking about her son and grandson, Finn insisted she couldn’t hold Hayes again and couldn’t keep coming around. He told Sheila this couldn’t continue, but she pushed Finn to call her “Mom.”

Finn said he couldn’t and urged Sheila to honor her word by staying away. “My son and I will have no part of your life, Sheila. Not ever,” Finn insisted.

After Sheila suddenly collapsed, Finn called for an ambulance and described the patient in crisis.

“She’s my mother. She’s my mom,” Finn said over the phone – and Sheila smirked to indicate she was faking her fainting spell.

At Forrester Creations, Eric wasn’t pleased to see Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). He assumed this was another attempt at an intervention and pushed them to butt out of his personal life.

Eric suggested there was far more going on in his marriage to Quinn than Ridge and Brooke could know. He didn’t want to listen to Ridge and Brooke judge his choices, so he announced he was heading home to be with his wife and took off.

Brooke complained that Eric didn’t even seem happy about his reunion because he kept blaming himself for Quinn’s cheating. Ridge declared it was ridiculous since Quinn was the one who had the affair.

Steffy showed up soon after in a chipper mood since she was back on track with Finn. She felt Finn understood the severity of the situation and that Sheila wouldn’t be a problem anymore.

At the Forrester mansion, Quinn and Shauna continued their discussion about Eric’s erectile dysfunction.

In light of this new development, Shauna thought it was perfectly justified for Quinn to be thinking about Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and missing that part of her life.

Eric walked in unnoticed and listened as Quinn admitted to missing Carter.

Quinn knew Eric might never be able to perform again, but she said this is what she signed up for. She made vows for better or for worse and hinted about marriage involving sacrifices for the people you love.

Shauna wondered if Quinn could really give up that passionate part of herself, but Quinn was willing to do it if she had to.

Quinn insisted she loved Eric that much, but Shauna wondered how Quinn would go from a relationship that was so charged with Carter to one of complete celibacy.

“I have to!” Quinn insisted. She wanted to be 100-percent committed in this marriage and vowed that she’d do anything for Eric. Nearby, Eric continued to eavesdrop and looked pensive.
