The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) may attack Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) over a Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) custody battle. You can bet Hope will blame Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) mom if there’s suddenly family upheaval, so let’s consider how this might play out.
In the December 15 episode, Taylor acknowledged Hope’s legal custody and once again expressed concern over all the Logan influence. Taylor is adamant that Douglas is a Forrester and should be spending more time with his father.
Of course, Thomas seems to be a bit wary of screwing things up with his son. He definitely made some mistakes back when he used Douglas as part of his manipulative schemes.
Douglas is a child, not a tool in his dad’s arsenal – and Thomas thankfully understands that now. Even so, Thomas is lacking in the confidence department and was quick to defend Hope’s spot in Douglas’ life.
Thomas also argued that he’d spend more time with Douglas once he got a new place, but Taylor obviously isn’t going to let this go. She just got back and has already brought this up more than once.
After Thomas finds a new house and moves in, Taylor may once again bring up the topic of amending the custody agreement.
Taylor wants to see Thomas take on a more hands-on role in Douglas’ world, but Hope may not appreciate Taylor blowing into town and messing up the arrangement.
From Hope’s perspective, things are working just fine. Hope’s probably going to be resistant when it comes to changing anything as far as custody goes.
Hope obviously likes having Douglas at home with her full-time, so she may blame Taylor for filling Thomas’ head with all these ideas.
However, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has already backed Taylor up on this and will continue to do so. That’ll bring the potential for even more B&B family drama.
This could easily lead to another war that pits the Logans against the Forresters. Hope and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) may go up against Steffy and Taylor with Thomas caught in the middle of it all.
It’s safe to say Hope’s going to rip into Taylor if she pressures Thomas to the point that he actually pushes for a legal custody change. Nevertheless, Taylor will inevitably stand her ground and fight for what she feels is right.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say this Douglas custody issue could turn into a bigger problem as time goes on.
