The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Is Sheila Really Finn's Biological Mother?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) maternity and paternity claims are not being disputed. Jack Finnegan (Ted King) confirmed Sheila’s assertion that she is John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) birth mother.

The circumstances of the forced confession and reveal were hardly ideal, as the Sinn wedding reception was playing out beautifully until that tremendous thud happened. But soap fans never take what they see for granted, especially on B&B.

Understandable questions have been raised about Jack’s willingness to believe that he is Finn’s biological father.

Jack has not shared that apparent reality outside of conversations with Sheila. But without evidence how does Jack, Finn, or anyone else know that Sheila is the birth mother as she claims to be?

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Test Needs To Be Taken

One would think, with all the paternity tests conducted on this soap, that a maternity confirmation is needed in this specific instance. A demand for the evidence to be provided would seem wise because the claimed mother is Sheila.

It is certainly not out of the realm of possibility that Sheila finagled the test results more than 30 years ago as part of some other scheme.

Fans of The Young and the Restless know that Sheila was involved in a terrible crime around the same time in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Sheila switched Scotty Grainger (as most recently played as an adult by Daniel Hall) at birth. Sheila did that because she lost Scott Grainger’s (Peter Barton) baby. That was part of a legacy arc that involved Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman).

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Sheila Carter Holds False Belief?

An intriguing twist on the above could involve Sheila not knowing Finn is not her biological son. That would be true if, instead of intentionally switching babies, as Sheila did to Lauren and Scott, a simple mistake happened.

Not everything has to be sinister. It could be that a human error in the Los Angeles, California, hospital’s maternity ward caused whatever child Sheila delivered to be given to another woman.

Finn would learn that stunning truth through a maternity test that proves Sheila is not his blood relative.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Lauren Fenmore Baldwin Is Needed

Bregman crossed over from Y&R to B&B decades ago. She crossed back as well and is currently in GC.

A plot hole exists on both shows, as Eric Forrester (John McCook) did not immediately alert Lauren to Sheila being alive when she was last seen on B&B starting in 2017. Brown’s iconic villain returned to town again, but still, there is no known contact with Lauren.

That breaks continuity once more, as Sheila was assumed dead for more than a decade. This specific point was addressed shortly after Brown’s character reappeared in LA four years ago, with Sheila brushing it off as rumors.

Multiple characters have crossed between B&B and Y&R within the last year. It is time for Lauren to be alerted to Sheila’s existence and jet to LA.

It would be incredibly great soap if Lauren confronted Sheila. But it would be mind-blowing if Bregman’s classic character is tied to the circumstances of Finn’s birth.
