The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) could double-cross Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Forrester Creations with a sneaky plan – one that could help Justin win back his old job and Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) favor.
Justin has vowed to be loyal to Ridge if he avoids jail time, but does Justin even know the meaning of the word “loyal” anymore? He vowed to be loyal to Bill as well, but he certainly hasn’t done a good job of it lately.
Even so, Justin did manage to give Bill total loyalty for decades and that perhaps counts more than this momentary lapse in judgment.
Justin made a big mistake when he let his greed and grudges drive him to make a power play against Bill, but does that erase his history with Bill completely?
As Bill pointed out, this was a betrayal of their brotherhood. Bill insisted there was no relationship that mattered more to him personally or professionally.
Bill’s hurting deeply over this betrayal – and deep down, Justin has to be hurting, too.
Justin’s tearful apology and plea for forgiveness seemed genuine in the aftermath of his exposure.
It felt like Justin really came to his senses and saw that he handled the situation all wrong. If Justin was feeling disrespected and battling resentment, he should’ve talked to Bill – man to man.
As for the whole takeover thing, Justin never should’ve thought for a second that he’d ever be running the show. I
t was silly for Justin to think he’d ever take the throne when Bill’s sons were always in line for it.
Now that Justin has snapped back to reality, maybe he’s playing this smart instead of actually shifting his allegiance to Ridge.
After all, Bill hates Ridge just as much as Ridge hates Bill! What if Justin is actually positioning himself to double-cross Ridge and impress Bill in the process?
Even if that’s not Justin’s plan now, it could become the plan later. Bill insisted that what Justin did was unforgivable, but this is a soap.
Just imagine if all the characters Bill’s wronged over the years held his mistakes against him forever. Bill wouldn’t have anyone who cared about him in the slightest.
It seems likely Bill will relent and forgive Justin eventually, so that loyalty to Ridge should go right out the window.
Justin may end up taking Ridge down instead of Justin, so this storyline could turn into a wild ride. We’ll pass along updates as other B&B news emerges.
