The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) may play matchmaker for John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Finn already thinks he’s found his perfect match, but his overbearing mom may push Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) to steal Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) man!
Paris has been plopped right into Finn and Steffy’s storyline with a goal in mind. After all, Steffy could’ve offered to get Paris a room at the much larger Forrester mansion. That’d make a lot more sense than inviting an employee Steffy barely knows to move in that small cliff house.
Finn said they had plenty of room, but they’re living in cramped quarters compared to that giant showplace of Eric Forrester’s (John McCook).
We’re also not buying this instant friendship between Steffy and Paris. Just when did they get so close?!
This whole scenario feels forced and strange, especially since Finn and Steffy are about to become newlyweds.
They’re also busy with a newborn, so this just feels like exactly the wrong time for a houseguest with an invitation to stay as long as she likes.
That means something else is going on here. There’s somewhere B&B writers intend to take this story, so we have to consider where that might be.
Once Finn’s mom blows into town on August 2, she may sense that Paris has a nice vibe with her son. Perhaps Li will view Paris as a much better option for Finn and try to play Cupid.
Li might witness a moment where Paris seems to be crushing hard – and we’ve heard Paris repeatedly insist she wants a family someday.
Finn’s mom might think Paris would be an excellent wife and stepmom to Hayes Forrester Finnegan down the line.
It looks like Li will end up derailing Steffy and Finn’s nuptials, so she may hope she can stop them from tying the knot. Of course, Li may not stop even if the wedding moves forward.
Steffy might become Finn’s wife, that doesn’t mean Li will throw in the towel on finding him a better option.
In Li’s eyes, that better option just might be Paris! It’ll be interesting to see if Li tries to recruit Paris as Finn’s new woman.
