The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, September 20, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had a special gift for John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) – and Eric Forrester (John McCook) learned the sad news that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) sizzled.
At Carter’s loft, Quinn faced an inner battle. This was torture due to what Eric was going through, but Quinn missed Carter and loved him. They wound up stripping down for a passionate release on the sofa.
Once Quinn left on Monday’s B&B episode, Carter couldn’t get the hot encounter out of his head. He also reflected on the note granting them permission to take this night for themselves, which left him looking deep in thought.
As for Katie Logan (Heather Tom), she showed up at the Forrester mansion and was taken aback to learn that Eric was there alone.
Katie was perplexed since it’s not like Quinn has a ton of gal pals to hang out with. She also worried about Eric’s forgiving nature and the possibility that he’d get taken advantage of.
Katie found Eric’s demeanor troubling and suspected that Quinn was the reason he was feeling so down about himself. When Katie argued that Quinn married well above herself, Eric defended his wife.
Eric insisted Quinn wasn’t to blame for how he was feeling and played up the complications that come with being married.
Katie got a hint about Eric perhaps not being able to satisfy Quinn in the bedroom, but she didn’t push the issue. Katie was more concerned about rehashing Quinn’s affair and helping Eric see what a legend he was.
Katie encouraged Eric to open up about what’s going on with him, but he ended the conversation and embraced her for lending an ear.
After Katie was gone, Eric once again gazed at Quinn’s portrait – and Quinn took a look at that portrait as well upon her return home.
Quinn ultimately made her way to the bedroom, where Eric asked about her night.
Although Quinn wasn’t keen on discussing this with Eric, she admitted she indeed slept with Carter.
Eric wished he could’ve given Quinn what she needed, but they reminded each other of their love before Eric pulled his wife close.
At the cliff house, Steffy praised Finn for being such a great man and father. She wanted to do something special for Finn, who enjoyed Steffy’s frisky mood as well as the lingerie she eventually showed off.
Steffy knew it was difficult for Finn to cut Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) out of the picture, but Finn assured her that nothing would come between them.
Finn and Steffy enjoyed a night of lovemaking since they felt they’d moved beyond the crisis.
