The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will be on cruise control for a while.
Once Steffy learned her baby actually belonged to Finn, it changed everything for this couple. Finn had no intention of letting Steffy go anyway, but the paternity truth showed Steffy a clear path forward with the man she loves.
Now Steffy and Finn are looking forward to two major events: their wedding and the birth of their child. Of course, it could take some time to plan the nuptials – and it’ll definitely take some time for Steffy’s bun in the oven to keep growing.
This works out perfectly since Steffy will be taking a backseat due to Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s maternity leave in the coming weeks.
Wood pre-filmed scenes so that Steffy wouldn’t disappear from the canvas completely, but she obviously won’t be a featured player all the time like she used to be.
Steffy normally gets substantial airtime as one of B&B’s biggest stars, but fans are already seeing less of Steffy and that trend will continue as other characters are focused on instead.
In other words, Steffy isn’t exiting The Bold and the Beautiful, but she’ll definitely be on screen less than usual. This will set up a comeback once Wood is on set filming again and can resume her spot as one of the show’s main cast members.
Steffy’s return will trigger some new stories and shockers, including the arrival of Baby Finnegan!
It’s doubtful a wedding was filmed for Steffy and Finn just yet, so that’s something that should come down the road as well. Steffy can get back in the action with a more substantial role again and marry the man of her dreams when the time is right.
Naturally, Steffy’s return should trigger some new hot plots to be part of as well – like meeting some of Finn’s family members and any drama that might arise from that. There’ll be some great opportunities for exciting Steffy and Finn material as they explore a new chapter together.
