The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Taylor Hayes’ (Hunter Tylo) texting just isn’t good enough now that her namesake Hayes Finnegan has entered the world. Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) mom needs to visit her grandson, so let’s discuss B&B’s glaring Grandma problem.
Steffy admitted that her mom was dying to meet her grandson, so why hasn’t she? There’s no reason a Taylor visit can’t be written in since this is such an important moment for her daughter.
Steffy is finally happy in a stable relationship with a man who adores her and a new baby they both love dearly.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is so proud and touched to see how well his daughter’s doing right now. Doesn’t Taylor need to come home and see for herself?
Taylor deserves to meet her grandson in person and be there to celebrate with Steffy during this joyous time.
Not to mention Taylor could interact with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and really get to know him.
Taylor should be a huge part of Steffy’s life, not just an afterthought that the writers only acknowledge with a mention here and there.
Taylor has been pushing for hourly photo updates through her texts, but that’s such a weak way to include her in this story. Texts?! Seriously?!
Taylor’s absence is already a noticeable issue, but it’s only going to get worse once Finn’s parents come to town.
Jack Finnegan (Ted King) and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) are headed to Los Angeles to meet their grandbaby, so it’ll be disappointing when Taylor doesn’t follow suit.
This would be the ideal time to throw Taylor back in the mix , but the show hasn’t offered hints about making a Taylor return stint happen right now.
It’d be nice if the writers could at least give the illusion that Taylor was there – like by having Steffy tell someone that he or she just missed Taylor, who dropped by for a visit.
That’d be better than texts about how Taylor’s dying to see Hayes when she could easily just come do it.
Naturally, bringing Hunter Tylo back or getting a Taylor recast would be even better options.
Taylor is needed on canvas more than ever now that Steffy’s had her new baby, but it doesn’t look like she’ll be back anytime soon. We’ll provide the latest news as it comes in.
