The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 16, reveals that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) joke enraged Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) while Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) offered to help John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
At Il Giardino on Thursday’s B&B episode, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) showed up and mocked Deacon for cleaning toilets when he could be living with her.
Sheila felt like this job was beneath Deacon and wondered if it was really worth stooping to that kind of low over Brooke.
Deacon reminded Sheila that his goal was reconnecting with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), but Sheila was stuck on the Brooke angle and felt he wanted to do a lot more than co-parent.
After Sheila got updates on Deacon and Hope’s martial arts bonding time, she joked that maybe that karate would come in handy with Ridge.
Sheila complained about Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) being the hurdle to her own relationship with Finn, but Deacon felt she was on her own in dealing with that.
Sheila knew Deacon was driving Ridge crazy and felt Deacon wouldn’t mind the end of the “Bridge” fairytale – that way he could kick off chapter two of his own story with Brooke.
At home, Brooke kissed Ridge as they agreed they hated being at odds. They decided to take a trip up the coast to recharge, but there was more tension when Ridge mentioned that Taylor had returned.
Brooke thought it was odd that Taylor offered no heads-up for Steffy. She declined to see a picture of Taylor with the grandkids and wondered when Taylor would be leaving to get back to work.
Ridge suggested Taylor might stick around for good this time and noted that she’d missed her family.
Brooke asked why Taylor had chosen to return now, so Ridge picked up on the fact that Brooke was acting off about Taylor’s comeback. He asked if Brooke had a problem with Taylor being in town again, so Brooke mentioned her long and complicated history with her old rival.
Even so, Brooke was happy over Taylor reconnecting with her family and thought Ridge should be understanding about Deacon, too.
Ridge couldn’t believe Brooke was trying to compare Taylor to Deacon, but Brooke felt like he was forgetting how much pain Taylor had caused her.
Deacon interrupted and mentioned karate lessons, so Brooke had to explain how they were joking around yesterday. Ridge was appalled over Brooke getting close enough to joke around with this clown and suggested Deacon’s plan was about more than just Hope.
Ridge felt Deacon wanted a relationship with Brooke as well and flat-out accused Deacon of wanting to be with his wife.
At the cliff house, Taylor finally met Finn in person and hugged him repeatedly. She acknowledged Finn’s emotional rollercoaster with his family and offered to lend an ear if he ever needed to talk.
Taylor told Finn a funny childhood story about Steffy before he had to take off for the hospital again.
That left Steffy and Taylor alone to discuss how things were almost perfect. Steffy just felt like there was a dark cloud hanging over thanks to the reemergence of Sheila and Deacon.
Steffy said Brooke should know better than to let Deacon back in the picture. She mentioned the toll it was taking on Ridge’s marriage before Taylor thought back to Brooke’s affair.
The scandal rocked all of them and was hard for Ridge. Steffy argued it wasn’t right for Brooke to welcome Deacon back with open arms since it wasn’t fair to her dad.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon will continue to stir up trouble, so stay tuned for more drama.
