The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, December 30 Recap – Douglas Sees Grandma Brooke Kissing Santa Claus Deacon

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 30, reveals that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) saw Grandma kissing Santa Claus Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) after Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) downed vodka shots with her former flame.

At Brooke’s place, she hung up disappointed over Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) not making it back to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

Deacon offered to stay and wondered if giggly Brooke had been drinking since she knocked a bottle over.

Brooke insisted it was nonalcoholic, but she didn’t think there was any harm in having the real thing. Brooke pulled out some vodka and had a shot before convincing Deacon to join her on the second one.

Brooke wound up laughing over Deacon’s wardrobe choices back in the day and was clearly plastered. They had more shots as Brooke argued it was just for one festive night.

Deacon agreed that when you fall off the wagon, you just get right back on! He put a Santa hat on at one point and declared himself “Deacon Claus.”

Deacon was getting pretty drunk by now as he laughed and admitted he dreamed of this in prison.

Deacon wanted to spend time with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and hang out having fun like this with Brooke, too.

Deacon admitted he was reminded of just how great they were together. He urged Brooke to recall their intense connection and passion, but she tried to shut him down.

Deacon felt he was speaking the truth and told Brooke that he never stopped loving her. They started making out while Deacon was wearing the Santa hat.

At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) warned Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to zip it as they did a fake countdown for Kelly Spencer’s (Avalon and Collette Gray) sake.

Steffy argued it was midnight in Greenland or somewhere as they pretended to ring in the new year.

Kelly accidentally poked herself on Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) cactus, so Steffy hugged her daughter and glared at Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).

There was talk about how the gang missed Douglas, but Thomas tried to avoid any drama related to that. He seemed fine knowing Douglas was with Hope.

After Ridge checked in over the phone, he reminded Taylor about her tradition of card games on New Year’s Eve to stay awake.

Later, Taylor played rummy with Steffy, Thomas and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) in the living room.

Steffy dropped a hint about Taylor spending more time with Ridge now that she was sticking around – especially if Brooke showed her true colors.

Thomas agreed that maybe Ridge would see there was another woman he should’ve been with all along.

At the cabin on Thursday’s B&B episode, Douglas couldn’t sleep without Peanut Butter the stuffed rabbit.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) urged Douglas to think hard about the last place he remembered seeing Peanut Butter.

Douglas realized it was at Grandma’s house during the movie earlier, but Liam suggested a fill-in stuffed animal for tonight.

However, Douglas snuck out and headed up to the main house. When Douglas peeked in through the window, he saw Grandma kissing Santa Claus and smiled.

In her hotel room, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) grinned over Brooke enjoying herself right about now. “Next year is going to be a bitch, Brooke,” Sheila said.

At Il Giardino, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) getting the check and splitting it down the middle.

Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) wanted to treat Paris and pointed out that they hadn’t had dessert yet. They noticed a couple looking all lovey-dovey nearby while feeding each other cake.

Paris acted like public displays of affection like that were over the top. She suggested she might feel differently when she was older, but she was happy living the single life for now.

Zende was taken aback, but Paris gently explained how much she valued her independence and thought Zende should feel the same at this age.

Paris felt like the casual thing they’d been doing was working out well and wasn’t ready for marriage, so Zende got the message.

Afterward, Paris found Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) at Forrester Creations and explained she was able to stop Zende before he pulled out the ring.

Paris wondered if Carter thought she made a mistake, but he argued it was never a mistake to be honest.

Paris got overwhelmed since she was confused and didn’t want to hurt Zende. Carter embraced Paris, who eventually locked eyes with him and planted a kiss on him.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Paris and Carter will have some complex emotions to unpack soon, so stay tuned!
