At Brooke’s place, she’ll sulk over Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) being forced to bail on their plans for midnight.
Ridge hoped he’d be home in time for the 2022 countdown, but it’s just not going to happen thanks to his grounded flight.
Brooke will no doubt gulp down another glass of what she believes is nonalcoholic Champagne.
Brooke’s had more than a few of those already and will probably finish the bottle off before you know it!
Deacon was still around to eavesdrop on Brooke’s phone conversation, so he knows she’ll be alone on New Year’s Eve if he doesn’t stick around.

Deacon mentioned having a bit of buzz after having real Champagne, and we know Brooke’s well on her way to getting drunk thanks to Sheila’s label trick.
As Brooke and Deacon begin to discuss their sweltering history, they’ll get all hot and bothered in the present, too.

At Il Giardino, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) will have to decide how to handle her latest predicament.
Paris knows Zende is about to pop the question since Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) warned her via text.
It’ll be far more embarrassing if Paris actually lets Zende propose, so she may pump the brakes before it actually happens.
Paris might even lie that Carter texted her with some kind of work-related drama and take off unexpectedly.
Carter’s going to face a bombshell once Paris meets back up with him, so she might admit to bailing on Zende.
